Maxlite 5 Softside Expandable Upright 2 Wheel Luggage, Lightweight Suitcase, Men and Women, Black, Carry-On 22-Inch

My first use of this suitcase was a month long trip to Norway and Scotland. Travel included airplanes, Cruise ship, North sea ferries, and automobiles. One flight had strict weight restrictions, and the light weight of this bag saved the day. Packing was complicated as we needed a suit and dress shoes for the cruise, warm jackets and rain gear for Norway and Scotland. Combined with compression packing cubes, this case handled a month long trip with ease while keeping the weight down to just under 40 pounds. It rolled easily on a variety of surfaces. Overall, it held up very well on a tough trip. I have owned many Travelpro cases and all have been durable. My 22 inch crew bag is still going strong after 22 years. The zippers are strong, and inside pockets are very useful.

This luggage serves my needs!

This case was purchased a year ago and has been used twice. The handle is stuck in upright position, which I thought could be easily repaired. However, I did nor want to spend half the value of the bag to replace a handle, which apparently was poorly designed. I have some Samsonite luggage that is 8 years old which still has workable retractable handles, so they do exist. Shame on Travelpro for such a substandard handle design. I wont be buying any of their products again.

Beyond happy with our luggage! I packed it full for a week vacation to Jamaica and kept it under 35 lbs. Very satisfied with its performance!

Love all of my TravelPro suitcases. The handle of one of my large cases bent and didnt slide in and out well (probably because of a very heavy back pack on the handle) and the company sent a replacement I was able to change myself. You cant go wrong with TravelPro. They are light, nice looking and have plenty of room. I also recommend sticking to the 2 wheel suitcases. The swivelers with 4 wheels are all the rage but 2 wheels are easier to pull over uneven ground, less likely to have wheels breaks and have more room (the 4 wheels on the bottom take away space).
