This is to replace one I bought and didnt work ... thank you for sending it out so promptly... however the one I ordered originally was a 15 month subscription and this new one is a 12 month subscription. Bummed ... the other thing I didnt like was that it asked for a card number. I dont like putting it online and I prefer to buy them individually.

I recommend to buy this software at the end of the year. You can save money. The unlimited version is the best. You can protect unlimited.

Installed easily on primary device, but Mcafee servers quickly overloaded. Cannot install on second device

Easy to install and seems to be working well. Can use on more than one computer.

Lack of documentation is a big issue. Mcafees reputation for poor customer support is well deserved. Dont load Mcafee unless youre willing to do significant work to get rid of it someday in the the future.; see below. Beware: Despite seemingly successful installation and confirmations on my Mcafee account, I continue to get intrusive pop-up warnings (that overlay critical areas of your screen) and email warnings that my virus scanning protection is expiring. These malware injections from virus protection software is not acceptable. The Mcafee support is worse than useless, including no response to emails. The problems are likely due to a prior Mcaffee installation. I m sorry I didnt go with the highly recommended Total AV virus protection, but was trying to avoid the software enema required to get rid of older Mcafee loads (as discussed on various forums).

I have a new HP desktop and my McAfee ran out so I decided to renew with this card. It did not work so called the number on the card, the first man who sounded like he was out of the states could not get it to work even after he took over my computer. Then he gave up and turned me over to another person who very quickly pointed out a lot things wrong with my computer and wanted $704 to fix it! My computer is brand new less than 3 months old and has been working very well. I think my computer was going to hijacked.

First, I ordered this item on Amazon and never received and order status displayed as delivered. I called Amazon customer service, they sent me a replacement item (amazon customer service is good). When I opened the package, there is a sheet with product key and instructions to install. I followed the instructions to install the software, but it gave an error message and asked to call customer service number 1-855-572-2782 (In fact the original customer service number from McAfee website is 1-866-622-3911) to get it activated. When I called the number, he took my email id and the product code then said he will call me back in 15 min. Then after 30 min, I have received a miss call twice and a voice message from 1-979-413-4362. Then I called this number back, the person who picked up the call told me that he will guide me to activate the software. When I followed his instructions, he made me to install GoToAssist software and took over access to my computer. He opened the system configuration and changed some settings and told me to perform a list of things to get it fixed (you can see the pic). He also said that technical expert assistance required otherwise computer be damaged. Then, he said I have to pay 99.99 to get help from a technical expert. I said I’ll think about it and disconnected the phone. When I restarted my computer it started acting weird, started in a safe mode internet is not connecting, chrome browser is not working. I am reinstalling windows in my computer and clean it completely. However, I have purchased McAfee Antivirus straight from McAfee website in the past and I never encountered this type of issue. Everything was pretty straight forward. So be careful of purchasing McAfee here.
