> 3 dayI bought a slicer and almost didnt buy any petrol-gel to keep it running. Im glad I went ahead a spent the extra money. The slicer keeps the luricant in place through the cleanings pretty well, but it does wear off over time. This stuff lasts a while since you dont have to use much of it, and it keeps me from ruining a new machine. If youre on the fence, Id buy it. It does what its supposed to do and its cheaper than regret.

> 3 dayWhen changing your water filters you will be needing this for the o-rings to keep the threads and rubber rings sealed but dont want to use petroleum jelly. The sanitary nature of this food grade product means you will not add any contaminants to your water supply. Also works on valves and unions to lube the sealing rings.

> 3 dayI removed cap and the seal was still in place just a tiny little slit that had begun to leak product near the top of the tube.

> 3 dayReceived a beautiful tube of lube to be used in certain applications where some contact with food may occur. My use was for a water filtration system (O-rings). You dont need much, so this is a really large portion for one household, but almost as cheap as a small packet.

> 3 day99% of reviews talk about meat grinders. I dont have a meat grinder. I needed something to lubricate the O rings on my syringe type meat injector that is stainless steel and industrial grade. This Petro-Gel is fantastic for that application. I also have a cheaper plastic Walmart meat injector and I used the Petro-Gel on that this cheapo injector as well. Worked GREAT!!! This is a great product and considering the price, I could not be happier. Shipping VERY fast. Thanks for a great product at a resonable price!!!

Greater than one weekTried Taylor Lube on the frozen yogurt machines at work, and the handles would stick, allowing product to run out even after the handle was no longer pulled down. Ended up with piles of wasted froyo! An employee told me about this stuff (actually, she shouldnt remember the name, but the blue label on a metal tube was good enough to find it) so I ordered it ASAP. This works SO much better than Taylor did. No more leaks = happy employees (less mess to clean up) and less waste!
