As the title states I used this to grease a pasta machine that was cacked in old dough. Disassembled the entire machine, cleaned all gears and reassembled using this lubricant. Should last for another 20 years

I purchased this to use on my Chefs Choice 615 meat slicer my wife purchased for me as a Christmas present. Reading other posts lead me to this product as it was recommended to use this to keep the motors moving smoothly. It has the consistency of Vaseline and goes on the motors and posts easily and does a good job of getting rid of the slight squeak on the motor as the blade spins. The size is pretty good for this machine and should last quite some time as we need to use fairly little of it. Overall this was a great buy for the meat slicer.

I purchased this along with a Chefs Choice 615 food slicer -- I dont know a tremendous amount about the very best slicer lubricant, so I went with the reviews/suggestions to get the Petrol-Gel. Honestly, Im kind of impressed at how little is required to lubricate the grommet on the blade and the key points of the slicer. This small tube is going to last a long, long time. This is one of those products where I wont bother to find a better alternative or try to save what literally amounts to a buck. Ill stick with Petrol-Gel because it works.

If your kitchen appliance has interior moving parts, like my Phillips Saeco Espresso Machine, you may need to lubricate it periodically. This get is food grade and does the job. There are no instructions with this: look to your appliance documentation for this. I think it may also be a good lubricant for exterior fittings, like the slip on paddle for my mixer that has gotten sticky. A toothpick of wooden skewer is handy to get the get into tight places.

Great in freezer and refrigerator door and cabinet moving parts. I use it on car latches, it doesn’t get dirty like ordinary grease.

I used a very minimal quantity to live the internal gasket of our espresso machine but the tube showed a small crack on the side. In general the product is ok and certified

My German made coffee maker started making strange noises like plastic straining against plastic two weeks after moving back from Germany. After a call to the maker and dicussion with a technician, he recommended a food safe lubrication. I did not think KY jelly would hack it so I searched amazon and came up with this product. I think I have enough words now. The product is reasonably priced and works well. Prompt mail service too.

When changing your water filters you will be needing this for the o-rings to keep the threads and rubber rings sealed but dont want to use petroleum jelly. The sanitary nature of this food grade product means you will not add any contaminants to your water supply. Also works on valves and unions to lube the sealing rings.
