This is the worst one “in my opinion” of the bunch because this one even though it looks nice and comes with refills in the bottom tray it is empty there is no flex in the bottom which you need to have when your dipping your tip all the way down and as it’s hot disorder in contaminants get scraped off from the brass wolf wool, Buy another brand because the flex alone is about eight dollars I would never buy this again I keep it for a spare

This is real solder cleaning wire and not a relabeled dishwashing sponge. Its also a good size and fits in my soldering kit nicely.

The set that I got has copper-plated steel pads. Not brass, like stated in the description. The holder is pretty nice though. Just a little expensive for copper-plated steel pads.

So much better and cleaner than using a wet sponge. If you solder, this is a must have.

I have been purchased brass pads for years from well respected manufactures at a much higher cost. These are not brass (maybe a small amount of brass if thats possible) Highly magnetic. I will not use these on my expensive soldering iron tips. Perhaps still usable to jam into small holes to deter mice. :)
