Bought for my grandson who is 1 1/2. Thick pieces. They stand upright for farm pretend play. Easy grip. Color quality is excellent as is the craftsmanship of the puzzle.

This was a hit with my toddler! He loves that the pieces are chunky because he can play with them like toys. I like that it’s wooden so he gets the auditory satisfaction of hearing it “clack” into place! Perfect non-electronic gift :)

We really love this product from Melissa and Doug! We have a few things from them in this house hold, and for the most part they have done really well! This makes learning run and easy when they can hold them animal, put them back teaches cleaning, its just a really nice simple product. We have a hard time with their rooster instead of a chicken? Hey, we will get there eventually :)

this is my sons first puzzle , although it is somehow expensive but I say its worth it because each block is big ( toddlers /babies can easily hold it), the colors are very attractive. I sing the old mcdonald had a farm and whenever I mention the animal he will go and put them to their designated space . it promotes learning in a very fun way . this puzzle is very durable and the paints are not peeling off ( even being wet at times) . during his 2nd birthday we had a barnyard theme birthday and I used the animals from this puzzle to decorate the table .Im very satisfied with this purchase.

My son loves this puzzle. The chunky pieces make it easy to hold for little fingers. Great for toddlers just learning how to do puzzles. It’s super cute too. Highly recommend!!

Love this product! My 20 months old DD, enjoy it so much and learning from it. She even say the names and sounds of the animal while putting them in. So, glad I bought this for her. We also have a different kind of shape puzzle from Melissa and Doug. They’re also awesome

My two-year-old grandson loves this puzzle. The pieces are nicely done, and painted. The puzzle is made of wood. He repeatedly dumps the pieces and puts them in. These pieces also can double as toys by themselves. There is a lot of play value to this puzzle because of this. My grandson will play with it for half an hour at a time. He is not sick of it at all. In fact, if a piece is missing, we have to stop everything to hunt for it. This is a great learning toy, play toy and self-esteem builder. Little ones like that they can figure out easily where the pieces go. This was a winner of a choice for my little guy.
