Melissa And Doug puzzles are the best ! The artistry and colors used are vivid and bright ! The scenes they choose are life like and action packed! They have motivated my granddaughter who is only 2 years old to take on 16 piece puzzles and now has graduated to 48 piece puzzles through daily use and trial And error ! Now she does puzzles designed for 6 years old and she is 2 and 1/2! Bravo keep bringing on new designs she loved the fish puzzle and the one she calls the moon puzzle! I bought these puzzles for two young boys who just became big brothers to a new baby boy. They really liked them. The pieces are sturdy and big enough that they are hard to lose and safe around the baby. The pictures are really colorful and interesting.

Yet another great Melissa & Doug product. We have a great time with our 6 year old playing on the floor with these.

Kids love it! They love that they are huge and the underwater one is challenging! The planet one is a bit easier with the contrasting colors but they still thought it was so cool! It’s a good one to start with.

My granddaughter loves these puzzles. Impressive how fast she can do them for her age. However, I wish the pieces were a bit sturdier/thicker. They do bend and the crease is there forever.

My son (almost 4) lives in overdrive to the point where I wonder if his aptitude for running into walls is a sign of ADHD. (Although on a side note, Im beginning to see a connection between what he eats and how much of an attention span he has...) Long story short, I have found very few things that can drive him to sit down and focus. However, this puzzle set is one such item. The pieces are sufficiently large to make them easy to handle and unlikely to go missing. The quality is great. Even on a low-pile rug, I havent had (so far) an issue with the pieces getting damaged from his careless trampling while searching for a piece. Also, by getting a 2-box set, I am able to keep one box with relatives we often visit so he has an activity available there. My only complaint is that while encouraging him to compare the imagery on the pieces to the image on the box, I found that the box image has been trimmed down slightly, so some of the edge pieces will be difficult to match up with the cover of the box.
