> 3 dayMy kids love these puzzles. There are enough pieces to be challenging for my 5 year old but still doable. The pieces are pretty sturdy and I see them lasting a long time. (i do teach my kids to not be abusive to things that shouldnt be abused, like cardboard puzzles, so I cant speak to sturdiness if your child is prone to chewing on things or dunking them in toilets).

> 3 dayWe always buy Melissa & Doug items and they are always so wonderful. My kids are 4 and 7 and they have so much fun playing with these. Puzzles are great for building fine motor skills and my son has been playing with them since he was 2. I highly recommend all Melissa & Doug items--they have something for every age!

> 3 dayI bought these for my daughter about 6 months ago, when she was 3 and 1/2 yo. She loves them, having done them over and over until she can now do them both in a matter of minutes. The pieces are sturdy and have held up very well so far. My kid can name almost all of the planets now and most of the sea creatures as well, theyve definitely sparked her interest in learning more. Pluto isnt included in the planet puzzle, which is something I guess I just have to get used to, but its still a good opportunity to mention Pluto and its place in our solar system. All in all, I think these are great puzzles to start out with; great for fine motor skills and problem solving as well as learning more about space and marine life.

> 3 dayThis was a gift for an 8 year old boy who is very bright and is enthralled with the deep sea and outer space. These puzzles keep him entertained. He learns something new every time he assembles them. His mother likes the durability and that she can throw the large pieces on the playroom floor. No need to set up a table.
