> 24 hourThis air compressor is astoundingly quiet. Absolutely perfect for my basement for cleaning out electronic devices and other items. My only complaint is the fact that the air tank on this unit is very small. I had to go out and buy an auxiliary tank to make this air compressor adequate for constant high airflow.

> 24 hourCompressor was as advertised- small, (relatively) light weight, and very quiet. Works great BUT I was disappointed in the fit and finish. The protective “roll cage” had dents and creases that apparently weren’t noticed or thought a problem by quality control since the damaged areas were painted over. Hope this isn’t indicative of a slide in quality from Hitachi to Metabo.

> 24 hourFound this on Amazon, great price , and said it was quite. Well its very quite, only used it a few times so far airing up tire, air stapler, blowing out other equipment. but works great and can eaasily have a conversation with a coworker while standing over it.

> 24 hourAs long as you dont need a large volume of air this thing is great. Its not going to supply a framing nailer but for trim nailers and tire inflation its totally adequate.

> 24 hourNote its 1 gallon, and at 100 PSI, this thing is empty in literally like 1-2 seconds. But, more importantly, my unit failed immediately, with a leak at the regulator valve, which slowly dissipated air pressure through that valve, no matter how tight or loose I had it, all the way out or in. So I see this piece of included paper: STOP. DO NOT RETURN to THE STORE. CALL US UP FOR TECH SUPPORT! So I call them up. They say, uh, just return it. LOL. What clowns. That being said, I am getting another one, because its so damn easy to return stuff with Amazon, and this unit is SO SO QUIET that you wont believe its working, so Ill take another chance. I am not pumping up truck tires, I am only using it for shop air to blow out dirt and other issues from crevices, and this will work fine for that. Especially in my small shop, this unit being so quiet is a godsend compared to my older Craftsman 5 Gal compressor which required me to put on hearing protection. Update: new unit performs as expected. I think the problem with the original is that there was some foreign material inside the unit, which I could see was coming out of the water drain valve and pressure release valve. Maybe some metal grit from the machining process, and it probably also got into the pressure relief valve and caused the seals to be ruined. Though, still, the one gallon capacity is like NOTHING.... that motor will need to constantly be on if you are using a steady stream of air at any pressure.
