> 24 hourI sure hope I never have to test this, meaning, I hope my antenna never gets hit by lightning. However, Im happy that I included it on my antenna setup, just the same. Ive had it inline to my antenna for a while now. It hasnt negatively affected performance of the antenna that Ive been able to detect. It didnt change the impedance or SWR either.

> 24 hourI hope the MFJ-270 never gets to be tested. I am placing two of these for each antenna. One at the base of the antenna and another at the back of the house. Hope to cut down on EFI along the coax. Trying to cut down on noise returning to the Ham Shack.

> 24 hourI cannot attest to the ability of this product to protect against all surges, however, we have had some pretty severe storms and the radio is still operational. Also important is that Ive experienced no noticable insertion loss which was a concern. Ill definitely add more when additional antennas go up. The little bit of added peace of mind goes a long way.

> 24 hourLightning Happens. Youll wish you had one of these, properly-grounded, on you antenna lead-in.
