> 24 hourFor now , I am using this with a end fed SWL antenna. It is my hope to obtain a Ham radio license in the future and with that in mind , my purchase of this device will work with any modest transceiver.

> 24 hourHave this mounted in a junction box near where my antenna coax enters the attic. Crimp connector for the ground wire was easy to use, even with just a pair of needle nose pliers at my disposal. Hope Ill never need to use this, but definitely feel a lot better just having it!

> 24 hourThis product is designed to bleed off static charges. As the packaging states, this product will not protect your equipment against a direct lightning strike. Be sure to follow electrical codes and safety measures.

> 24 hourHave the Lightning Arrestor inline. Fortunately, no need for it yet. As most of us know, there is no real protection, except to disconnect your radios. Its built very good.

> 24 hourI sure hope I never have to test this, meaning, I hope my antenna never gets hit by lightning. However, Im happy that I included it on my antenna setup, just the same. Ive had it inline to my antenna for a while now. It hasnt negatively affected performance of the antenna that Ive been able to detect. It didnt change the impedance or SWR either.

> 24 hourI cannot attest to the ability of this product to protect against all surges, however, we have had some pretty severe storms and the radio is still operational. Also important is that Ive experienced no noticable insertion loss which was a concern. Ill definitely add more when additional antennas go up. The little bit of added peace of mind goes a long way.
