Microsoft Surface Pro 7 – 12.3 Touch-Screen - Intel Core i7 - 10th Gen 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD – Matte Black

I have purchased at least a dozen Surface tablets and additionaly surface laptops. The surface line is a Microsoft product that has reached maturity and is a go to for my company. The weight, the durability (they are not always nice to them), the accessories available in cases, etc. all bring us back again and again. This is a true tablet PC in the very best form out there and I am responsible for hundreds of machines in our group. I cannot recommend the surface highly enough. And no, I do not work for MS, or know anyone there or receive any compensation.

So far it has been flawless - did all of the pending updates after receiving it and then installed a number of apps. The i7 and 16GB of RAM show a significant performance upgrade over my 5-year-old, 8GB Dell XPS 13 9350. Network performance is also improved. Works fine attached to a 4K monitor. Price was over $300 lower than through Microsoft and delivery time was three days. All in all, I am extremely happy with this device. I also bought the separate keyboard and pen.

After lots of research, this was the laptop my wife chose for her college grad gift. Upon arrival, the box was crushed and open. All product due to arrive was in box, but you could tell itd been through the wringer.

I really really loved this device until the fan started buzzing a month into lightly using it. Dont get this. Get the i5 so the fan wont work as hard. I cant even use this at work or school without disturbing people around me, and to top it off, the return window is closed.

i had written earlier that Surface wouldnt start. I had to contact Microsoft, they registered me and helped me fix my prob. Basically, with all the recent updates it needed to be restarted but I had to use the power key and volume key to do so... I didnt know that. Its working great now! I still think that the Amazon delivery system and contact system (2 day wait period) is not good business. That is the only reason its not 5 stars. But the surface itself is a 5 star.

I received a new, sealed, and safely packaged Microsoft SP 7 tablet, just as promised. I set it up on the first day and, so far, no issues at all. I bought a pen for it and the responsiveness is intact. Got a keyboard as well and it works just fine with this tablet.
