The rods are shiny, and after you grind them they are also pointy. The result is a pointy shiny rod. I noticed that if you hold them loosely between your fingers in each hand, and click them on each other, they give a sound of PING. I am not sure what else they can be used for. Ninja weapon maybe?

Honestly new to aluminum tig welding but the blue seems to be the easiest to work with.

It works. I do alot of specialty welding on pipe and the tungsten holds up to the job. All xrays are shooting and no tungsten is breaking off which is good so its a good price for what youre getting.

I received the electrodes on time and they were all there. I do not have a ton of welding experience but I was welding 3/16 steel and I think I like these better than the thoriated I was using.
