I bought these for my daughter and I and they are just perfect. They are doing what they need to do by protecting our counters and dressers from the heat of flat iron and can be used for travel as well. We love them.

To be honest, I havent used it yet. But Ive unwrapped it and intend to keep it. Its a good size, and its what I needed for my bedroom vanity when I use my curling iron or hair dryer. Im sure its fine with the heat-resistence….its a whole lot better than what I was using. Thats why I gave 4 stars....since I really havent used it.
