Minecraft: Master Collection – Xbox One

Was a pain to install and update.

Awesome.

Game doesnt work. What a scam.

The game is fine, Im referring to the DLC content included. A big feature of the XBox One is game sharing. Every game and DLC on the XBox can be shared with the people in your home who also use your XBox. This extends all the way to sharing Live access and Game Pass. Its a great idea. Minecraft DLC codes included in this version DO NOT SHARE. They dont tell you this on the package, or warn you when you redeem them. Once you redeem, only the account that redeemed them will have access to them, period. My children wont get the DLC included in this package, as its tied to my account, and if I give them access, then they also get access to purchase items using my credit card. Save some money and by the base version for $20, or better yet, dont buy it at all. Microsoft has known about this for almost a year at this point and done nothing. Why would they? We are the ones with the upset kids who want us to spend more money so they can have all the skins and levels.

My son wanted this game for his birthday. He is 9, he was pleased that it artist quickly and he loves the game.

So I bought this game, because someone stole my previous one... eeggghhh... but overall I was very happy, the game works great, disc was clean and functional, straight out from packaging.... the only down side was that some of the starter and creator packs that were suppose to come with the game DIDNT. Even when you put the redeem code in, it’s nowhere to be found. So your paying for some upgrades packs your not getting... sad face... me and my daughter were very disappointed.. we love Minecraft...so to be honest... to anyone looking to buy, I would get the basic game and buy all upgrades so your not missing out on anything... but this was still a great buy for us!!!

I could not be more unhappy with this!!! The redemption codes did not work, I will be sending back and not ordering, waste of our money.

This was a birthday present for my 10 year old grandson and he love it

Similar to another reviewer, we didn’t receive all of the digital content promised. My daughter spent a couple of hours dealing with support, got a couple of issues solved, and then they said “we’ll get back to you on the remaining items.” That was over three months ago. Any attempt to get a response from support has been unsuccessful and I’ve tried more than a few times.

Definitely get what you pay for
