Good: The projector is tiny, it comes with an HDMI Cable, RCA cables, and a power Chord. Bad: Dont expect the wifi to play a video, it is laggy. For me, that was not a deal breaker. I was planning on using the HDMI cable The Downright Ugly: There is no keystone distortion adjustment. This is why I have removed a star Would I buy again? On sale, yes.

The product got four stars because I had a problem connecting to my phone, however the company was right there with me every step of the way. When we couldnt resolve the problem, they were fast to refund my money. No hassles, no nonsense. They are great.

The projector is very compact and came with the expected power cable, HDMI cable, remote (batteries not included), and an A/V cable. I set it up about 8 feet from a white wall, in the middle of the recommended range. Focus is manual using a dial that is inset on the right side of the unit. I have used the HDMI and Wi-Fi options with a MacBook Pro laptop. First, I projected the MacBook using the HDMI cable. The projector shows up as “S2-TEK TV” in the Displays portion of the System Settings. The picture quality is good, although the image isn’t particularly bright. I didn’t have any problems here and this is my main usage. The projector only has 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and your computer has also has to be on the 2.4 GHz side if you have a dual frequency Wi-Fi modem. If, like me, you use MAC filtering on your Wi-Fi, the MAC number of the projector is given in the “Wi-Fi” menu, and there is a mechanism to enter your Wi-Fi password. Projection uses the “Screen Cast” option on the projector. It shows up as “MarsByte-D71B48” when you look for displays to add, and shows up as “Apple TV” when adjusting settings. The big problem is that there is very large lag over Wi-Fi, almost a half-second. Over Wi-Fi, audio was automatically sent to the projector. The sound quality is adequate for speech, but poor for music. You can adjust the bass and treble or use presets, but the speaker just isn’t very good. The cooling fan runs all the time, but isn’t very loud. I like the 1/4” tripod socket on the bottom because that’s a very convenient way for me to set it up. The projector doesn’t project an exceptionally bright image, but fine for a home office, living room, or bedroom setup. This is a good choice for a budget projector for home use.

After getting a replacement projector I’m updating my review. It works well.

Im pretty impressed by the high resolution on this mini projector. It comes with all the cables needed plus a remote. I wanted a projector for baking but this ones focal length is not short enough. Also, I couldnt connect it to my phone (tried both Android and apple without any luck).

The main thing is that the image quality is solid which is what I needed the most. It can maintain a decent sharpness even at the larger sizes. The brightness and colors are good, and overall its very usable. There are limited connections but thats due to its portability. The sound is also decent. Not the best, not the worst. The main downside would be that the fans can be pretty loud even though they say its quieter than the competition. Projector lights are bright and can run hot so its understandable that the fans have to be up, and given the form factor its certainly not a simple task. But its a good value for the price and I like it a lot.

I use this compact projector when I travel and it doesnt disappoint. Great picture, decent sound & I love the size.

Ordered this to use in our backyard, and am very happy with the results! Nice, small unit makes it easy to bring out and set up. Plenty bright and the picture quality was better than I was expecting given the price of the unit. Makes for a very enjoyable outdoor movie or sports watching experience! Ive only used it with the direct HDMI input, so not sure about the wireless connection option. Ive mostly used it with my laptop and cable box, going straight from HDMI into the projector. For testing, I also successfully used my phone, with a separate USB-C to HDMI adapter, to be able to wirelessly stream movies using apps on my phone. Nice value, good picture, very easy to use. Im happy with this product and looking forward to using it even more as we head into the summer!

i bought this after my precious projector from another company stopped working. the video quality and sound is SO much better for the exact same price. cannot recommend this product enough!! such a sleek design as well
