Cute little plug, worked great! App was easy to install and integration with Alexa wasn’t hard. The only installation issue was user error (kept trying to use the wrong WiFi password and the app couldn’t specify that was the issue). The only reason I wouldn’t go out and buy a million is the plug is a space hog on my power strip, so if I needed a lot I might find a different configuration to install. In the meantime, super excited for my seasonal window decorations to have an easy timer and remote control this year!

It is only 2g compatible and we are on 5g networks

The Gosund app will not allow the user to install the device, making the device completely useless, unless the user shares location with the app. I find this to be an invasion of my privacy. There is no need for location to be enabled to allow communication between two wireless devices.

I keep get a message saying You are using a lower version of the app. However, Im using the version Gosund recommends. Ill stick with Amazon products from now on.

These are easy to set up and work with Alexa or Google. It’s so awesome to tell Google to turn on the bedroom or living room lamp when I walk in a dark room!

I found out unfortunately it does not work as a widget in the smart life app. So I will be returning. I shouldn’t have to open the app every time I want to turn on or off a switch.

Does not connect directly to the Alexa app; you have to download the other app and THEN link alexa app. Does work once you have it installed.

Works great with Alexa. Was difficult to set up at first. Instructions were ok, but ended up setting up by trial and error. Once I had one set up the subsequent plugs were easy. Works great! Vacation or walking in you can turn on lights from phone or voice activation.

Why is Amazon trying to offload old tech? I bought these before and we’re fine.. 6 months later tried to purchase more and it’s a obsolete model.. thanks for nothing
