Great color selection

I love my MIYA jelly gouache! Love the color range but I love the convenience of each little pod! I let all of mine dry completely for ease of travel purposes. Then just pop out the colors I need on-site and reactivate with water! I’m obsessed! And my clients are loving my finished works with these paints!!

The browns all changed to a weird orangish-green color but other than that it was a very good product just unfortunately could not use anymore because all of the colors i needed were a weird tint.

The actual Amazon package arrived damaged so I was super worried the contents would be too. Luckily, the actual MIYA box was fine! Quality of the paint is really good! It’s my first time using gouache so i was excited! Gotta take one star off because 2-3 of the little jelly cups were a bit damaged and the paint leaked the slot. Just put some tape over the bottom to fix it. Not a big issue. I enjoyed the actual paint. Easy to use. Finally found the perfect medium to use that works as both like watercolor and acrylic! The paint doesn’t dry as fast as everyone else say. The colors are vibrant and I can tell they jelly cups will last me a while! A little goes a long way! From what I’ve seen in past reviews, it’s a hit and miss and depends on your delivery person especially during the holidays, packages are just getting tossed left and right to ship stuff out. I waited a week for mine to arrive! Still, I recommend this ! ^^

Its convenient to have the colors already mixed up - but Im noticing I use the same few while others might not get any use - so Ill run out of those first Im sure. Ive used high end gouache and I feel like those lasted longer and needed less water added to them - making them a better deal overall. When I use these, I need to use more of the gouache; and they dry out on my porcelain palette plate faster. But, its worth the purchase just to be able to pull out the box and start painting faster on those days I just dont feel like mixing colors. (I use a tiny palette knife to get out the colors out to put on my plate wiping it off after each dip as to not mix the colors in the boxes - works great - highly recommend doing it this way)

Im new to painting with any medium but not aware enough of what is a good quality and what isnt. These glid nicely and feel good under the brush. There is a wonderful array of color in these so you can mix to create other colors from the already vast choice. They have a peel away lid in a locking plastic case and I was worried about them drying out but theyve been fine with no problems. Getting the peel lid off is a little challenging but once you do it youre done. Id really recommend these. Matter a fact Im ordering a second one now. Being a color junkie this is heaven!
