> 24 hourThe M&M light that I received came with the adapter. I plugged it into a timer plug that I can control on my phone. The light is pretty bright, 18” fit my large daytime cage perfectly. It’s a very well thought out product which even came with smooth metal zip ties. I appreciate that it’s a led light and one that I can feel safe having around my Marley.

> 24 hourI live in a highrise with a covered balcony that only gets shade, so this has been a welcome addition to the happiness and health of my 4 parakeets. I have a large cage on wheels that I drag out onto the balcony for fresh air around 10 am when the air is warm enough, plug their light in for the day(which is attached at the top of the cage) then back inside at around 8 pm, unplug the light to get ready for them to sleep. So the whole timer thing does not work in my situation. I wish the cord was one sturdy piece, instead of the chew proof, sturdy metal cord, then the flimsy adapter. I keep those attached together when unplugging each night in hopes of not ruining the adapter or light. Other than the cord/timer thing, Im very happy with this product. Edit: 4 months later, I had a small problem with my light, and contacted the company directly. Mark replied to me right away on a Sunday(!) and immediately took care of the problem. Very professional and polite. I would definetly buy from this company again. Excellent customer service.

> 24 hourI bought 2 of them, the first one was too long but that was my fault. I love these so much, so good for my birds too. Never gets hot and has LOTS of light for them. I even have it under a cage cover and on a timer to turn off and on every day so even if I am not up yet, they have their light on for them. Cant say enough good things about this.

Our ChewGuard PetLight comes with everything you need to safely install and power your lights, their own power supply, mounting hardware and stainless steel cable ties. Please note that the light does not have a power switch and must be connected to a common lamp timer so that your birds receive a consistent amount of light. LEDs are also suitable for humid environments and are safe from any liquid you might spray while cage cleaning.
Installation
M&M lights can be mounted both inside or on top of the cage by attaching them securely to the bars with the provided mounting brackets.
The power cord MUST be secured using the supplied stainless steel cable ties. Stronger beaks can bite into the stainless steel conduit if they can get their beak all the way around it. Also, dangling wires can be dangerous to your birds, be sure to secure them to the cage.
