The birdie was a little bit intimidated by it at first (like with anything new lol), but she got used to it pretty quickly. Easy to install. Hope it will help us to keep her happy during the short days in winter.

I purchased two EZ PetLights (different lengths) for black headed caiques cages. These parrots did not have lights previously. I already installed lights for an Amazon and a Macaw with the full spectrum bulbs. I did this so I could compare not just the quality of light but to see how the parrots reacted to the LED light. To my amazement, all four parrots preferred the LED lights. The LED lights are brighter than the bulbs. The Macaw takes every opportunity to invade the caiques cage to bask in the LED light. I have noticed that the caiques are much happier with the LED lights - their behavior has improved substantially. I have had fewer behavior issues with the caiques when the LED lights are on. FYI: I keep all the lights on timers so morning and bedtime are consistent. All the birds get natural light but through windows. I highly recommend the EZ PetLights. I will be purchasing another two LEDs in the near future for the Amazon and Macaw. Update: I asked for advice from the seller when the adapters to my lights started to misbehave recently. The seller quickly responded with a fix. Super helpful!

This is not bulky, not hot, and within a day I’ve noticed a HUGE uptick in my Conure’s energy! He’s so much happier with this. Especially since I don’t get a lot of natural light in my apartment

My CAG is much more active since we got her new light. She does somersaults under it. Maybe shes trying to shed some light on her bum? All I know is that she seems to be very happy with it!

Good light! My bird loves it. She gets right up next to it and she has also stopped plucking now.

We needed to modify this for a curved top cage, but it is a GREAT design and light.

The marketing materials they put with this online make this full spectrum lighting seem like a godsend. It does function as lighting and it functions to provide a light source when coupled with a timer. That is exactly as it was advertised to do. However, my Avian Vet from the University has stated that I need a UV light. Ill have to buy a second light to provide the purpose that this one was originally going to do.

I was able to buy adapters to connect my chew proof lights in my breeding room. There’s lights are absolutely perfect!
