> 3 dayThis review is for glass/digitizer replacement for a 3rd gen white iPad. The replacement was fairly smooth. Unfortunately the digitizer has a dead area that is 2 inches wide along the left side of the display. The connectors are inserted securely. I have replaced this part before on other iPads. I contacted the seller and will update the review if this issue gets resolved. For now I would recommend caution against buying this part.

> 3 dayPurchased and installed in December 2015. Immediately noticed the battery drained significantly faster with this screen front than the original screen. The touch screen worked for 4 months. After 4 months, the screen started ghosting. The screen would randomly detect touches in random locations. At its worst, I opened a paint program and walked away. After 3 minutes the picture was fully covered. It got to the point where the ipad was unusable. Screen needed to be replaced again. I purchased a second touch screen, same model, hoping this failure was an anomaly. This second screen will not register inputs in the bottom inch of the screen. Second screen returned (the first could not be returned, since the failure occurred after Amazons 30 day return policy). Im now looking to buy my third touchscreen in only 6 months.

> 3 dayTouchscreen is not responsive and at times the keyboard will type without any keys being pressed rendering the ipad useless.

> 3 dayI have a lot of experience replacing iPad screens. So for me this product made the whole product incredibly easy. The preinstalled adhesive and home button made it so simple. If you haven’t ever replaced a screen before, don’t expect it to be easy. Be gentle and take your time. Be sure to follow an online guide.

> 3 dayDigitizer does not work. installed it today. screen comes with home button cable. home button works but digitizer wont accept a finger swipe to unlock ipad and get started. was going to contact the company but reading the included paperwork seems like I will get the run around.. product needs to be shipped back on my dime. Then they will test it and get back to me.. who has that kinda of time I sure dont especially for an 18 dollar product. I have repaired several ipads and laptop computers over the years usually without incident this is the first ipad screen that did not work. very disappointing

> 3 dayI just repaired my sons 5 yr old ipad3 which I accidentally destroyed this week. I was trying to unbend the power opening, which was dented, and cracked the screen. Oops. After watching a couple diy videos on YouTube, I decided the $19 bucks was worth a shot. The package came quickly, had way more tools than I needed, and was super easy to install. I wasnt expecting it to come with the camera and home button/brackets already installed, so bonus there! Now its charging away and looks brand new. The home button doesnt seem to be working but I dont know if that was my install error or what. I had to turn on the Accessibility home button, so thats an OK workaround. Now that I know the screen is so easy to fix it may pull it apart and do it again to see whats up with the home button.

Montato funziona perfettamente.
