Due to the original cracked screen, it took a long time to remove the small pieces however once done, the installation of this glass replacement kit was a breeze. Very well put together kit that doesn’t leave you needing any additional items to complete the job right the first time. Thank you

Made the dreadful process of changing my iPad screen just a little better. The only other things I needed besides the tools in this kit was the heat gun and pliers to fix the outer frame.

Major points to MMOBIEL/Menko-Teleco for their customer service. I received the first screen for our iPad 3 and upon installation the touch screen/digitizer wouldn’t work except for the top 10% of the screen. Removed it and reinstalled it two more times with no luck. We recently replaced a newer model iPad screen with no issues and have done multiple iPhones and never had this type of problem (these are for our gym/business as check-in kiosks and music controls, and we are a little hard on our electronics!). I contacted the company via Amazon and had an email response, apology and full refund initiated within 6 hours of my email! I immediately reordered the same screen (this was the fastest way to get the new screen to me) and installed it as soon as I got it. The new touch screen/digitizer works perfectly! No issues whatsoever and it looks brand new. Now we just need a better case...

Digitizer didnt work out of the box. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

It was around Christmas time that my husband decided to get a new iPad for himself. His old iPad was passed down to our daughter and her iPad with a broken screen was passed down to our son. But, the task of replacing this on our own was very intimidating. So this is April and we just did it last night. By far, the worst part of this job was removing the previous screen. We had a screen protector on the old iPad, which kept the shards of glass together, so I recommend that or using tape. That being said, it was still a job scraping off every remnant of broken glass from the frame. Our hand vacuum cleaner and canned air was a big help during this step. The other steps went much more quickly. The entire process took about two hours, but a good amount of the time was spent reading, looking at directions, and watching videos on YouTube. There was a website provided with this product that was supposed to have videos to help, but my browser would not allow me to open it for security concerns. This meant I had to look around the Internet and make sure I found the right video so maybe that cost me a little time, I don’t know. Overall though, I’m very please with the outcome. Initial testing shows the screen is responsive to touch just like the original, better than the original actually because the breaks in glass interfered with that. It looks and feels new!

This was an excellent product but it does have a disadvantage. The adhesive that is used to keep it attached to the iPad is extremely poor. I was forced to purchase a separate adhesive design specifically to attach glass and plastic or plastic and glass. Otherwise this product was extremely well once it was attached correctly.
