I got this portable monitor for a work trip to one of our branch offices. Most of the staff there WFH now, and I was not sure what equipment would be left at the office for me to use. This portable monitor is perfect! I was set up and working in no time. Very simple to use, and very basic set-up makes it perfect for on the go. I’m probably going to buy a second one (I use two monitors with my laptop normally) so I can WFH outside (providing my Wi-Fi is good enough on the porch)!

It is a good simple monitor with good picture. It works well with my laptop and has a very easy setup. It comes with all of the needed cabling. It was a good price for a good road warrior bit of tech.

This new Monitor really came in handy for my training. Dual monitors is a must when your profession is Cyber Security. This new monitor worked great for the task of viewing my many VM screens. I was easily able to connect the device to my laptop. I really would have liked to have their monitor stand available, but they informed me they were out of stock. The monitor itself was a good purchase.

I bought this to use for work and let me just start out by saying the box alone that it came in should be enough to let you know this company cares about presentation and their product. The box looks like it came off the shelf of a store at BestBuy or Microcenter. Inside you will find all the cables you will need to hook this up to your computer, tablet, or even your phone. As long as you have a USB-C port on your device then you will only need 1 of those cables. If not then you will have to use the provided power cable and mini HDMI to HDMI cable. I included a picture of the actual quality of the monitor. I am really impressed at how well the colors look compared to my laptops that i have paired it too. It actually looks better than the laptop screen. The speakers are not that great but that is fine as i do not use them as I prefer headphones but for $120 i dont think you will find a better monitor at that price point. Also it comes with a 2 year parts and labor warranty and a 10% coupon for purchasing something else from them.

As an editor, I need a close approximation of picture quality and colors (even though Im not color grading with it)... and everyone needs it bright enough or whats the point? Out of the box and after initial settings, I didnt think it was bright enough and was ALMOST GOING TO RETURN IT ... BUT AFTER TESTING other settings I discovered these settings made all the difference: select BRIGHTNESS ->ECO -> MOVIE MODE. With MOVIE MODE and USER color settings (instead of cool or warm) the MNN best replicates my MACBOOK PRO M1 display. The other modes/configurations were simply not bright enough even though at 100%. So NOW I I can say that it seems fantastic. I purchased at 42% off - $116 - so a huge value for the price. I am considering getting another but I dont really need another - but thats how much I like it. I got the monitor stand Amazon said others were buying with it - and its great. Its the TriPro Tablet Stand -Portable Monitor Stand,4.72 for $24.99. THE ONLY ISSUE SO FAR: Turning it vertically with the TriPro stand (that the MNN recommends as well) means that the USB C cord barely clears the surface - which means the cord could push the monitor out of the stand. To avoid that, I am limited on the tilting. I want to have it more upright but have to have it at about a 20(?) degree angle in order for the cord to not get stuck. BUT I WILL RESEARCH a different USB C cord that doesnt protrude vertically. UPDATE: I got a new cord for $11 to clear the bottom when monitor is displayed vertically on lowest level of stand. It worked fine for a little less than 2 weeks and then it started to claim No Signal and goes into power saving mode. I set it up carefully on its permanent spot on my desk and it just refused to acknowledge signal. Tried it with multiple cables, computers, and nothing. UPDATE 5/1/2023: I was able to contact the email for MNN to troubleshoot the issue. After running through all options I decided to return the monitor for a replacement (electronics do fail- hopefully this is a fluke). I am awaiting the replacement of the same model. The new 3 star review is for the so-far wonderful customer support from MNNs Gloria and Amy. If this one works fine Ill be ok with bumping up the review. UPDATE 5/12/2023: Second monitor wasnt working initially until I made a couple of power cycles on my Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X and now works fine. It COULD have been user error with the laptops software not liking hot-swapping with two internal graphic card options on this model. Im bumping up the review to four stars, as its still not as bright as I was hoping for and seems slow to respond but I received EXCELLENT customer care from MNN.

Overall, this product has good value and works as a basic portable monitor for a laptop, tablet, or phone. My primary issue with this device is that the stand is really lacking so youre basically required to purchase one separately. They included a note in the package that you could email for a free stand accessory but when I reached out, that was not confirmed.

I use this monitor for when I am working while travelling away from home. It is very compact to pack, simple to connect with a USB cable (although USB A and HDMI cords also supplied), and the case doubles up as a stand. It gets it power from the laptop so no need for a separate power cord. Other reviewers have commented about lack of brightness, but I have found it to be adequate while outside in the shade. Picture quality seems excellent although I am not using it to game
