> 3 dayThis monitor is the perfect size for travel and education. I use it as a second monitor for teaching in small groups with my laptop. Instead of everyone crowding around my screen and looking over my shoulder, Its easy to turn this one around for students to see and follow along while I use my laptop screen. I gave it 5 stars for picture and screen quality due the ability to adjust contrast and color etc for different priority applications.

> 3 dayI purchased this laptop monitor specifically for all my zoom meetings. Before it was very hard to share my screen and still have necessary spreadsheets in the background for reference and/or trying to monitor the chat while presenting. Now, I am able to do both. It is very easy to use, great screen quality, and portable. I highly recommend this monitor.

Greater than one weekI needed an extra monitor for travel and for when I work from home. This one is perfect. My kids even borrow it from time to time to use with their Switch and other gaming systems. I used my MacBook Pro with it. No issues with connecting. It needs a power source - doesnt have a battery - which is fine, it uses the power from my MacBook or my kids plug it in when they use it for gaming.

> 3 dayThe monitor is great. Good size and picture quality. I did have a problem with the toggle switch on the side, but it was easy to get in touch with Customer service. Gloria has been helpful in getting a new monitor shipped to me.

> 3 dayIve had this for a couple weeks now - and used it for an impromptu business pitch... plugged it into my laptop - got my stuff open - turned the monitor to face the other person and went through the slide deck... Fantastic! Sooo much easier than dealing with a projector! And, having a 2nd monitor while traveling makes my productivity improve as well!

> 3 dayAfter having tried smaller - lighter dual screens that attach to each side of my laptop - I found the quality was just not there - seemed a bit of a light weight - even a bit cheap. This unit is SOLID and the picture quality is just as good as my standard 24 monitor(s) I use on my tower system. The downside is the weight of the unit (Portable Monitor M156F01); however, both my 15 Lenovo laptop and this monitor fit in my backpack - just a bit heavier - yet still manageable. Overall - If the screen is as good as I think it is - I will probably sell my tower and 2 standard monitors and use my laptop and this screen as both my primary and portable system. Overall - my initial impression is very positive with the quality and the price, which was over $100 less than comparable screens.

> 3 dayI really just needed an inexpensive portable second monitor for when I travel. I can’t function these days without a 2nd monitor. This MNN monitor was exactly what I was looking for. Great price. Much better picture than I was expecting. The stand is pretty good and provides good protection. It is lightweight. Includes all the necessary cords. I do wish the brightness was higher at startup (it does not remember the last setting since there is no battery), but it is easy enough to change. Five stars.

27-03-2025I purchased this monitor when we returned to the office because everyone was figuring out where they would sit again and finding equipment around the office to fit your laptop was challenging. Rather than working just from my laptop screen (I’m used to two monitors when working at home) I purchased this portable monitor. It’s light, the display is nice, and it’s easy to set up! I’ve been more than thrilled with it. I still use it when I go into the office (even with having more equipment set up there now). I also use it when I can work outside and enjoy days with nice weather. Very pleased with this purchase! I’ve had it for about a month now and it gets used at least 3 days a week.

> 3 dayI opened and set up the monitor in just a few minutes. It would be helpful if they included a link on how to set you computer to use 2 monitors. Sure beats flipping between open windows.

> 3 dayAs an editor, I need a close approximation of picture quality and colors (even though Im not color grading with it)... and everyone needs it bright enough or whats the point? Out of the box and after initial settings, I didnt think it was bright enough and was ALMOST GOING TO RETURN IT ... BUT AFTER TESTING other settings I discovered these settings made all the difference: select BRIGHTNESS ->ECO -> MOVIE MODE. With MOVIE MODE and USER color settings (instead of cool or warm) the MNN best replicates my MACBOOK PRO M1 display. The other modes/configurations were simply not bright enough even though at 100%. So NOW I I can say that it seems fantastic. I purchased at 42% off - $116 - so a huge value for the price. I am considering getting another but I dont really need another - but thats how much I like it. I got the monitor stand Amazon said others were buying with it - and its great. Its the TriPro Tablet Stand -Portable Monitor Stand,4.72 for $24.99. THE ONLY ISSUE SO FAR: Turning it vertically with the TriPro stand (that the MNN recommends as well) means that the USB C cord barely clears the surface - which means the cord could push the monitor out of the stand. To avoid that, I am limited on the tilting. I want to have it more upright but have to have it at about a 20(?) degree angle in order for the cord to not get stuck. BUT I WILL RESEARCH a different USB C cord that doesnt protrude vertically. UPDATE: I got a new cord for $11 to clear the bottom when monitor is displayed vertically on lowest level of stand. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FY32M1Q?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) HOWEVER, I did not realize this stand slides upward so a new cord wasnt entirely necessary but still good to have for this lowest display.
