Today I received two of the 6 XLR to TRS cables I needed to run my studio monitors to the PreSonus FireStudio Mobile interface. I could not believe the quality in the cable, and the durability these have. What is a nice addition (that I have never seen on cables in this price range) are the reliefs on the TRS side of the cable. This prevents the cables from bending too much to the point of breaking the wires inside. Now I had not bought from Monoprice before, but I know that to get these cables through Monster Cable, or Mogami would have been double or triple the price. There was no way I could beat this price at all, and for this quality!! The delivery was faster than I expected (came by USPS), and being so close to Christmas it was very impressive. I will definitely buy from Monoprice again, and yes I do recommend others check out Monoprices items!!!

This cable cannot be used to send an unbalanced signal into a balanced speaker or other sound reproduction or recording device. Stereo output yields a largely cancelled, very quiet signal. Mono output yields a distorted (high frequency biased) signal. It is hard for me to imagine what this cable could be used for. If you are considering this cable what you probably need is a DI box (aka direct box), a 1/4 to 1/4 cable, and an XLR to XLR cable (yes youre going to have to spend a lot more money to make this right).
