The phone worked well for a while, but then the speaker stopped working and Motorolas warranty service seriously sucked. When the speaker died, I contacted Motorola who sent me to their local authorized repair place and paid for the service. So far, so good. I took multiple trips to the local repair facility where they factory reset the phone and replaced the speaker, but said that it didnt fix the problem- there still was no sound. They found no water or physical damage and determined that the phone was non-repairable and gave me a form stating that. I then contacted Motorola. I was told that despite going to the authorized repair facility and having their form, Motorola wasnt going to send me a working replacement. My options were: 1)send in my phone, be phone-less for about a week, wait for them to receive it, and then have them contact me to explain my options, or 2) pay them $35 for their service and pay a ~$130 deposit and have them send me a phone before I send mine in. If I chose that, they send me a replacement phone, I ship them the old one, they look at it, determine if its covered under warranty, and then call me to explain how much I would be billed if it werent covered. The person on the phone said she couldnt tell me how much I would be billed because it wasnt her department and the department that could tell me doesnt accept phone calls. I could understand needing a deposit to send me a new phone if I was just calling in saying my phone broke. However, after making me go to have my phone inspected locally and still making me jump through all of those hoops after their repair facility inspected it is pretty crappy customer service.

Definitely, this phone has proven that it is one of the best, if not, the best smartphone for under $200. I have been using this phone for over 3 months now. I cant thing of anything negative to say about this phone except for the fingerprint sensor. It is a little difficult to get my fingerprint read by the sensor. I am not using it, but it may be my finger which is the problem. The phone has more than lived up to all my expectation so far. I will recommend this phone to family and friends from now on. My first Motorola Smartphone and it wont be my last.

Had to find a good replacement phone for my mom and read the reviews for this one and so far its working out great. For an older adult that is not tech savvy at all this might be a bit harder for them to use. She is still trying to learn to use cell phones. I personally like the phone. It takes great photos and its easy to navigate and use. Its bigger than her last phone but not my much.

The only thing the iPhone has that’s better than this phone is camera and processor, and I really mean that. Everything else on the Moto g fast is better than the iPhone and this phone is only $170. Apple charges you $1,000 for something that doesn’t give you nearly as much flexibility as this phone. This Moto phone has a headphone jack, a karate chop gesture flashlight and it works all the time unlike iPhone, a twist for quick camera, and a fingerprint scanner conveniently on the back. The colors pop and the display is nice on the eyes which is a big upgrade from the Moto g7. The do not disturb button actually blocks pop up notifications making the whole point of do not disturb useful, unlike iPhone. The camera is not as good as the g7 and definitely won’t compete with the flagship phones. But don’t buy the phone for the camera. Buy it because if you want to get to something you use daily you can get to it conveniently and fast, hence the name. Don’t buy the phone thinking you’re gonna get 60 FPS gaming though. It’s just not built for that. The battery life is amazing. I can go all day without having to charge it. Its an overall solid phone for the price. I would recommend this phone for sure. There’s not really anything like it. Put a snapdragon 888 and a professional camera in this thing and I wouldn’t need any other phone.

I usually like to wait until Ive owned a product for a couple of months so that I can write my most honest review. I have owned the Moto G Fast for 3 and a half months now. After 3 and a half months I have noticed that the camera quality has become poor in such a short amount of time. When pressing the camera button it takes a while for the camera to snap a photo and the image that Im snapping a photo of has to be completely still because if it moves the slightest bit the entire picture will come out distorted and blurry. Also, the phone barely connects to data. As of now I can only make calls and send texts but I cannot use the internet or open any apps. I put my sim into my backup phone and the back up phone connected to the data just fine and everything worked without having service issues. It is disappointing that the Moto G Fast has become near useless after owning it for such a short amount of time.

This is not one of Motorolas better devices. The first issue is no NFC chip set. This is my fault for not doing better research but it would figure this would be standard for most phones today. So without this chip no Google Pay or anything like that. The battery life is no where that Motorola claims it to be. It says 2 days on a single charge. Not even a full day of letting your phone sit idle. If you use it maybe half a day. Also the phone will randomly shut off for no reason. Not a restart but complete shut down. The upside of this phone is the calls are clear with few drops and the camera is fantastic. I really like the macro view. Not the worst phone on the market but definitely not one of the best.

I have wifi calling now and can discontinue my home phone service, I like that part... The phone has everything I need and many things that are beyond my user ability, that I am sure would be very usefull to the right person...

The battery charged fast but can die quickly, unlike what it says about it lasting s long time even being on it..I have an ex that used it a lot and would have to charge it before I left for work nightly due to it dying..however, doesnt die near as fast when its left alone. Other than that, great storage space, durable, stylish, great features, great signal pretty much everywhere with my carrier (the phone you have makes a huge difference with this believe it or not! I find Moto phones are great signal phones, not the Moto E though!) And all for a pretty good price! Way cheaper on here than in stores like EalKart! Recommend buying this phone, completely worth the money and investment if you ask me, and buy it on here. Plus, you get a replacement plan on Amazon and dont in WalMart, stupidly enough but Moto does offer a plan for it if anything else! It ends up being the same price, a bit less so a better deal if you ask me, for the phone, sale taxes, and for the replacement plan price put together. Its way more in WalMart and you dont even get the piece of mind knowing your phone is covered if dropped, something is accidently dumped on it and do on! Buy this for your next phone and you too will become a Moto fan like me!

I use this phone for business and I have to take a lot of pictures of work being done and jobs that are inspected. Best phone Ive had in years and years and didnt break the bank. Camera is awesome and is better than my friends phone which cost 3-4 times as much. Phone sounds great and has lots of options and some I dont even use. Screen is big and extra clear. Buy a nice case and screen protector for it and you will be more than happy.

So Ill start off by saying this phone isnt the absolute best on the market, its very good and I believe the best at its price point but it isnt meant to compete with flagship android phones (still better than apple though). It charges quickly, not anything like the warp speed charging in higher end models but pretty quick and definitely enough for me. The battery life is pretty good, not a crazy 48 hour battery life or anything but it lasts me 2 school days quite easily. The camera is good, not DSLR quality, but more than good enough for my purposes. One thing that I like about this is the basically infinite storage, you can add a micro sd card in the sim card tray to basically have enough storage as you could ever wish for. Overall a solid phone. Not top of the pack or anything but a fantastic deal. Id buy this again or recommend it to a friend.
