These self-adhesive metal plates are used as replacements or spare parts for your magnetic phone mount. I use the 3M adhesive to stick the metal plate to the inside of my phone case (between the phone and its case). When I want to replace the case, I need a new metal plate, not another magnetic mount. This 8-pack of metal plates is the perfect solution.

much better than the oem my schroeder came with. i can feel the magnet pulling actually as Im about to mount. *but* i did put the part outside of the case vs. the inside. very good value for the money.

I cant imagine using these in a vehicle - the adhesion is not nearly sufficient to hold well on anything other than a flat surface. Even then, I had to supplement the adhesion of these by using Gorilla double sided tape.

I had bent the original metal plate I had & needed a replacement without buying the mount. This metal plate is thin enough that I place it within the cell case without causing a bulge.
