Great mount for the price. Its very secure, solid, doesnt sag or droop with my 50 TV extended out. The design is such that with the TV mounted correctly its very secure and cannot fall with the locking bolts engaged. I have only one complaint. The mount is very stiff to pull out. I bought a TV to just fit in a media nook and built a cabinet below and put shelving above. It looks great, almost built in, but I only have 1/2 above and below and 1.5 on either side. To pull the TV out I have to grab it by the edges, and it takes significant force to extend the mount out, so much so that the TV starts to bow, causing concern that I could damage it. Id like to know if theres some way to adjust/lubricate the mount to make it easier to extend. There is nothing on this in the instruction manual. I understand it cant be too easy to move or just vibrations could cause it to move, but its way too stiff. Good news is once everything is in place I likely wont touch it, but Im on the fence about keeping this mount because of the issue. Still giving it 4 stars because everything else about it is top notch.

Almost took a star off because they advertise it as suitable for a brick wall, but dont describe how to install it on a brick wall (for the top of the mounting bracket you can put two screws into a horizontal row between bricks - for the bottom of the bracket look for where a hole lines up to a verticle column between bricks - you may have to slide the bracket slightly right or left to find one - at least thats how I did it.

This was very easy to install. It comes with a huge variety of bolts and washers so you can use what you need. It moves easily off the wall and you can angle the TV to the left and right. One thing is, if you want to angle the TV up or down, you have to use an Allen wrench to adjust the bolts on the back then tighten them again. Another thing that presented a problem is that there is only a certain amount you can move the TV left or right on the mounting bracket. So if you want to use studs, you may have trouble centering your tv. We used heavy duty wall anchors that luckily we had at home but be prepared that you may run into trouble if you want the TV in a very specific spot. Other than that, its a great product.

Friend of mine recommended this and purchased it shortly after. Price is ideal compared to a local major retailers who wanted almost three times this price for a bracket. Install took less than an hour and the template helps you line up with your spot on the wall. TV is now on the wall and the view is perfect !!

I read a great professional review recommending this mount (architecturelab.net/best-tv-wall-mount). Dont recall why I picked this one (since it was their runner-up) but very glad I did. Very clear install directions, went up easily, and feels very sturdy and well made. No complaints at all. Used with Samsung 50-inch TV, and it feels like it could easily handle a larger set.

Good tilt, left and right motion is good too but a bit stiff. I ran a magnet across the the whole mount and the lag bolts, its some sort of ferrous metal so I guess its steel like the description says. It seems that some kits come with HDMI cables and some dont. Mine didnt come with an HDMI cable but my brother who ordered the exact same model received an HDMI cable in his kit. The manual that came with his kit says an HDMI is included, my manual doesnt say an HDMI is included. (Check attached pictures)

I bought two of these brackets for my house. I hung a 40 TV in the office and a 55 in my living room. It took me a second to realize that you dont need all the hardware they provided, but they are giving you options to handle different types of TVs. Once I figured it out, it was extremely simple to set up. I had to buy a set of drill bits to drill the holes in the studs, but otherwise I was able to handle everything easily. Its also clear that the mount is extremely sturdy. Only thing that is a little difficult (even though its really not) is that it can be a little hard to reach the screws with the allen wrench to adjust the tilting of the TV and then tighten again once youve got it tilted at the correct angles. But thats easy enough to figure out. If you know how to use a socket wrench and a drill, which most anyone can do, this is very easy to set up and install. I would definitely buy another if I needed one. I felt like this item is a bargain at this price.

I brought this wall mount unit to install my tv in the bedroom. This is a heavy duty unit and will support 99 lbs., tv and wall mount unit together. It was an easy install. I just followed the directions. Comes with all of the necessary screws and bolts you will need. All the parts are in marked in compartment type bags so it was easy to fine the part you need. I bolted the wall mount unit to a stud with 2 out of 4 lag screws provide, in the center of the wall mount. Then I used 4 heavy duty drywall anchors that I had for the corners of the wall mount. Installing the tv to the wall mount was easy. 4 screws, 2 on each side of the metal bars screwed to the back of the tv. Placed the tv with the metal bars on the wall mount and tighten 2 screws and I was done. This was installed on a Hisense tv and with the wall mount flat, my tv is about 3-4 inches away from the wall. Time to install the wall mount and the tv about one hour.

First thing to do is throw away the included level....the one I received wasn’t accurate. I used one of the levels I already had. I took the arm portion off from the wall plate before mounting to the wall. Just too difficult to mount unless you’re just dealing with only the plate. I had trouble locating studs inside my stucco wall (I mounted this on an outside patio wall). So I used 6 lag screws and 6 wall anchors (2 of the lag screws and 6 of the wall anchors were not included). It’s very firmly in place. After getting the wall plate attached to the wall, I reattached the arm mechanism. Once that was done, I attached the TV. I mounted this unit 8 ft up the patio wall. Fortunately I have a Genie Lift that made it easier to put the TV in the exact, necessary location to attach to the mount. Overall it’s a well made unit and VERY economically priced. Would highly recommend.
