> 3 dayAlthough the seller is very nice and helpful, these things just arent worth what you pay for them. They pretty much have to be in direct sunlight to work properly. So if you dont have a window where the sun in beaming in directly where you want to place the globe, I wouldnt get it.

> 3 dayThese are beautiful and make excellent gifts. I spent a long time figuring out which size is best given that the price difference between sizes is substantial. I ultimately settled on the 4.5in and was not disappointed. The larger sizes might also be nice in certain contexts, but would definitely bring more attention to the products weak-point: the poor texture/image quality on the globe; its slightly low resolution and the two halves are not perfectly aligned on the horizon-line -- which feels like a bit of a gyp given the price of the product. The copper theme looks very good and helps to mask the aforementioned imperfections.

> 3 dayBeautiful and unique piece. Make sure it gets sufficient light to enable the globe to turn.

> 3 dayI just received my globe and all but one of the acrylic pieces for the stand is missing from the package! How is one supposed to display this globe without the appropriate stand??!! Not only that but there an inspection sticker on the package saying Amazon “Inspected this package” I call BULL on that! Any person with half a brain would have seen that two CRITICAL pieces of the product were missing!!! Waste of money and time. Buy elsewhere

> 3 dayWorks as advertised. However, it is made of two separate globes one within the other, floating in a fluid. Doesnt take much light to get it moving as long as its directional. Also, It only looks like silver on black when the light when it is not coming from the rear, otherwise it looks purple and silver. I have had it for a month now and it hasnt broken, it has been shaken once but never dropped. On average it seems to rotate at about 1 revolution per 50 sec, but it would appear to be dependent on the amount of provided light. I would recommend this, if your looking for a tasteful globe that rotates on its own without batteries or wires. In fact the provided base is not necessary.
