MOVA Globe Metallic Black and Silver 4.5

I bought this for my dad for Father’s Day (you know, the guy who has everything and wants nothing). It’s on the dining table where he and my mom sit to eat most meals, so anytime they are sitting the light over it is on and it’s spinning. Everyone is fascinated by it, definitely a conversation starter and it’s something he is definitely enjoying! I’m pretty sure my husband will be getting one next :) The packaging is great and it’s very simple to put together!

Does not work as promised. I bought it when i was visiting US and it worked for one whole day when i reached back home. Now i cant even try to return and get another piece I dont usually like to give negative reviews , but was totally disappointed by this that i just had to. The only reason I gave it an extra star is because it looks pretty and the build quality is really good. Its really a shame that it doesnt work.

Mova globe does not move

I got a lot of good words about my globe. Its spins only when there is bright light or at least medium sun light. It can spin even without pedestal, there is a liquid inside of it. I can confirm that it is purple when it get sun light, but it still looks very good. Now for durability: I had it for over a year its been dropped, shaken but it still works just fine.

I think the MOVA 5.5” globe black and copper is the best globe. It is beautiful and mysterious. It quietly occupies a section on my desk and it sits there slowly turning the beautiful continents around and around. This is not a toy. It is relaxing to watch and if you are a Geek kind of guy this is a must have item.

It took us 2 years since we first encountered a Moma globe. We were hooked and finally got ours today, the blue and metallic silver. Beautiful. Very calming. The materials, graphics and construction are about as flawless as you can get. So many designs, sizes and colors to choose from...that was the hard part. The packaging and protection was excellent and it arrived in perfect condition. Im tempted to get up and turn it off to save the battery but oops wait, it doesnt use a battery! Shipping was very fast, 4 days from order to receipt.

When you likes to see the world rotating without electrical power, this globe for you. This globe needs the incandescent light. I have 120W light bulb, it provides the indirectly power to the globe and rotating really fast. Awesome, I am still trying to figure out the rotation. Cool toy for adult, specially over 50 yrs old...
