These skates are stunning. They live up to to the hype in terms of quality and comfort. This is obvious straight out of the box. Measure your foot. Go by measurement, not shoe size equivalent. Unfortunately, I had to return the Moxi Lollies as they didnt fit (user error on my part). I took a gamble and bought the largest size available, size 8. Their size 8 is supposed to fit a womens shoe-size 9. Usually I wear a womens shoe-size 10, but sometimes I can squeeze my foot into a womens shoe-size 9 and thought maybe I could get by. Not today! They were too small. Bummer. I ended up purchasing Sure-Grip Boardwalks instead since they have my size available and I dont want to wait until next year to roller skate. The Sure-Grip Boardwalks are made with thicker leather and provide more ankle support than the Moxi Lollies, which actually may be better for learning. The Moxi Lolly boot may have slightly less ankle support because the leather is thinner, more malleable, but they hug your ankle like butter, so they are more comfortable at the ankle. Also, if you are learning to skate, you WILL fall on your bottom and hard. If youre purchasing skates, make sure you purchase CRASH PANTS as part of your protective gear. This is no joke.

Solid quality, the suede was a little rubbed but thats to be expected. The packaging leaves a lot to be desired, I wondered if they were returns or display models, but they function great so thats fine. The wheels are awesome and they come with laces + a tool. The red is much more muted than it looks in the pic. I will likely exchange for the yellow color since I was hoping for a brighter tone, but the quality itself is awesome. I can see how some reviewers think theyre fake- probably due to the shoddy packaging. The skates themselves are authentic, just roughly thrown in a box. Im thinking theyre probably returned models or displays- and maybe the price should reflect that- but given the difficulty in getting these, its worth the gamble.

I thought I would love these skates. I literally cannot return them fast enough. I have not disliked a product this much in a very long time. The wheels are extremely high its abnormal. I bought yellow laces and upon threading them through the loops the color was bleeding on to them immediately. Its like they were used and dyed after or something. But something that cost so much money should not have the color bleeding on anything. The wheels are just so high that you cannot get the stoppers low enough to accommodate... not worth $400 at all! The tongue shifts to the side so you always have to adjust it. Well I assume you always have to adjust it I only wore them once and hated them within minutes. I researched these things extensively before purchasing them and I can never get my time back... But I am returning these awful skates. They are true to size but imo the Panthers are way better even with the stiffer boot to break in.

I like them, but am returning them. Why I like them: 1. Genuine suede 2. Flattering and well fitting shaped boot (order your dress shoe size - I wear a 9 Nike shoe, I wear an 8 Riedell boot and I wear a 8 to 8.5 dress shoe. Skates should fit snug but not too tight where they would hurt your toes. 3.Wheels are OUTDOOR wheels - super soft, meant for asphalt/pavement. You would need harder wheels and/or additional bearings (sold separately) for the best experience rink skating. 4. Super cute - if cute is a factor for you... 5. Wheels seem to be good quality 6. Riedell MAKES GREAT BOOTS this is a great skate/brand for regular skaters or those who want to get back on skates. Why Im returning them: 1. Box says they have ABEC5 bearings (not ABEC7 as listed - listing is wrong, Riedell only sells them with ABEC5 however...) see picture of box label. 2. Came with PINK Moxi wheels - Riedell only sells these with the matching Seafoam wheels as pictured (I checked with a dealer) so someone switched them at some point and the nuts used are cheap ones you cant re-screw - I had the same problem with another pair of pre-assembled skates. But the pink/teal combo is a cute combination, Im just not a fan of pink and because Im not willing to take the wheels off, Im not going to be able to check to make sure they have the right bearings (ABEC5) to make sure those werent switched as well (some online dealers have been known to do this because the average person doesnt know their skates that well - just check the parts when you get them). 4. NOT a deciding factor, but that little Moxi M on the side of only ONE of the skates is CUT OUT - it is not black embroidered, or lined, it is a HOLE in the boot. Im a regular skater, Ive gotten much nicer, professional quality skates at around the same price or a little more - so Im a little disappointed in Riedell with these skates... I would have liked to have seen a better plate and a little more structure/support for the listed price. The wheels not being the right color is what really bothers me, so I think if I decide I really want them I will order locally...

I am over the top happy with these skates. I bought them here on Amazon after doing a vast search of numerous online skate shops who were all sold out of the Moxy brand skates. I thought I’d check Amazon, on a fluke , here they were, the exact Black Sued pair of skates I’d been searching for and all sold out everywhere. They were not marked up in price, which was awesome. I wear a size 8. These are wonderful, beautiful skates and I will have them forever. Thank you.. Who knew I’d find them on Amazon? :)

These have a super comfortable, already broken in feel. Very smooth ride. I lovecthe suede boot and the neoprene stretchy material around the ankle makes thing very comfortable. I would definitely refer to a friend and buy again.

My 13 year old daughter, whos been skating for 2 hours every night for the past three years, saved up all her birthday money and allowance to purchase these skates in September 2022. She skates on a flat patio, round and round and round for hours every night. She is NOT rough nor performing tricks in her skates. In NINE MONTHS, one of the skate plates broke. I contacted Moxie who told me that will NOT help me because the skates were purchased on Amazon and not direct from their website (never mind the fact they have an Amazon store!). I was told to contact Reidell, who manufactures the skate plates. Well, I spoke with Paul at Riedell, emailed him the photos and he told me hed send over a prepaid shipping label so I could mail in the skate. This was two weeks ago: guess what I have not received? Thats right, a shipping label. And yes, Ive followed up his email on more than one occasion. At this point, I would NEVER recommend Moxie skates. Apparently they are just cute skates that cant even hold up to the EXACT same patterns of use as a $100 pair of skates my daughter used for over two years. I am horrifically disappointed with the money grabbing Moxie brand claiming to support young women who wont even stand by their product and provides ZERO customer support. Dont let your daughter waste her hard-earned money on skates that wont last with a company that wont back itself.

These all black skates are *chefs kiss.* Super comfortable right off the bat, I’ve had issues with blisters from other skates. The large soft wheels are perfect for rough outdoor terrain. The nylon plates keep it light-weight. You can get a similar skate for less money, but I do love these.

Happy with them. They ride much smoother and are much more comfortable than my previous $110 Candi Grl skates. They have a softer boot which makes it easier to be more flexible in them but slightly more dangerous when it comes to breaking an ankle (hopefully not). Deff dont think $350 is worth it, maybe more like $250. One advice; everyone told me candi grl is a great beginner skate I disagree, buy the best you can afford the better the skate the easier you will learn! I have a much easier time learning tricks and riding these skates than ny cheaper once.
