I originally purchased the smaller size and my little one loves them. I love that he can makes a mess and spill the liquid everywhere.

My kids started using these around 12 months since we wanted to slowly get them off of bottles. These were so easy for them to figure out. I know the water comes out easily because the chug it quickly. They love these cups and get upset if they dont have them nearby. Super easy to clean. Just 3 pieces and I take the apart and put them in the dishwasher and they come out undamaged and just fine. Also love that they come as a 2 pack for those of us who have twins.

Okay like every other confused soul I had my doubts this cup would work, until I saw these and did some investigating I had never heard of WOW cups. These seem to be similar but more affordable. My 2 1/2 year old had recently literally chewed off the straw from his second sippy cup. So obviously it was time to try something else. He can drink unassisted from a regular cup but well anyone with a toddler knows that temper, excitement or just for the heck of it will pop up and the cup can be thrown for any reason. Sigh, liquid everywhere. Ive tried the traditional spout cups. Never liked those for two reasons. One being that no matter who made them the claim that they do not leak was just wrong. Any time the cup was on its side (and believe me its in that position a LOT) it would have a steady slow drip. Not good if the liquid was juice or milk. The second thing I didnt like was the snap on and off lid. That little stinker figured that out real quick and thought it great fun to separate the top from the cup and SPLASH everywhere. And lord help us all when he got ticked and threw the thing, without fail the lid would pop off from the force of the landing and SPLASH. This is why we moved to the sippy cup with straws. On plus side those twisted and snapped on so the top coming off was never an issue. However these too leak. And by this point the crumb snatcher has figured out that if he turns cup upside down he can make it rain. GRRRRR but as we had never heard of this style cup we thought that was the best we could do. Like I said UNTIL the goober chewed through the second straw. His father and I debated simply going with a regular cup as like I said he can drink from that no issue, but the reality is hes just still to clumsy. So being a Prime member addict I hope on here. These cups popped up. Even after the well written reviews explaining how water gets out I still did not understand it clearly. But I liked that there was no straw or spout. Sure it says leak/spill proof but I wasnt hopeful despite the many positive reviews (and yes, I do read the negative reviews to see what the common gripe might be. I decided to be aware of the gripes but ignore them as a decision in purchasing). We ordered them. They arrived yesterday while Destructo was at preschool. I had his snack and milk (in new cup) all set up when he got home.He was not amused by this new style cup. And immediately handed it to his older brother to exchange for his cup; his 15 year old brother couldnt really figure it out either. I laughed and told them both how it worked. Neither looked convinced. I gave the rugrat the cup back, he tried to drink nothing. He handed it to brother. Brother gave it back, I explained again he need to suck and tilt (with the straw cup he had learned NOT to tilt the cup it just came up) and tilted the cup up for him as he tried to drink. Nothing. I laughed told hed figure it out and walked out of kitchen to sit on the couch. He followed me and by the time he made it to the couch he was drinking. Its a hit. He used it for the rest of the day/night and again at breakfast this morning. Now lets talk about leak/drip through status. When they arrived I filled it with water (taking one reviewers advice not to over fill) I keep the liquid below where the bottom of the screwing of the lid is. I turned the thing upside down (over sink of course) and shook it like I was making a martini. NOTHING came out. I laid it on its side and let it sit like that for 10 minutes and nothing leaked. I swear I got so excited youd think I had found some money. I called his dad downstairs and was like it doesnt leak. He was skeptical took it and shook. Damme if he didnt get it to leak some. I decided that its because hes stronger than I am. So poo on him. Its not like Monkey is going to be able to shake it that hard. Im stronger than he is and it doesnt leak when I shake it so I dub it leak proof. Of course we all tried to drink from the cup ourselves and duh I feel so slow for not understanding the other reviewers descriptions. I think the tab in the middle is what kept throwing me.The coloured material under my lip lifts up when I apply the sucking and tilting to drink and the liquid pours our right there. The stopper in the middle obviously controls the flow, which is fairly light and slow. Would make an older child annoyed but for a little one who isnt used to drinking from a free standing cup no biggie at all. They break down really easy to place in the top rack of the dishwasher. And as my older son said once he doesnt need the top anymore the bottom is a perfect kid cup. Will be ordered two more of these.

These cups are easy to use and easy to clean. They are spill resistant. If you have a toddler like mine, they usually end up laying sideways somewhere on the floor. When this happens, they do leak.

Took my 1yr d a min to learn to suck on them. But he does good now, make sure to take off white part on top and clean good. Mold grows fast.

I bought a couple of these as a joke because my friends kept spilling drinks on the computers when we get together to game. I opened up the box and washed it out to try because I was curious, and I surprised by how well designed it is. I messed around with it a little to see if my sister would want some for her kids, figured Id post results here too for other prospective users. Notes for Parents: I did a few tests with water to gauge mess in various situations. Nothing comes out if its just tipped over on the table or floor, which I assume constitutes the majority of spill scenarios. Only a few drops leaked when I flat-out dropped it on carpet, and carpet preservation tends to be a big reason people buy this sort of thing. It does splatter a little more if its dropped on a hard surface, but its still minimal cleanup. I even tried tossing it at a wall, and again there was a small splatter but nothing that cant be handled in a few seconds with a rag. As other buyers have noted, the user must put their lips to the edge and suck out the drink. I thought that part was going to be a lot more gross than it is, but the liquid comes out pretty easily and theres no cringe-inducing slurping noise involved when I sip it. Noises may vary with actual children. It does have to be tilted up quite a bit to get the fluid to come out, so it might feel a little wonky to drink out of at first, though I assume the 2-5 year old crowd is already used to weird drink containers. It should be fine to throw in a bag without worrying about leakage, but the insulation isnt good enough to keep a drink cold for long periods of time, so it wont replace a high end thermos. Its appearance is neutral enough that its feasible to convince a kid older than the toddler range to use it, and its definitely worth considering for a family with the danger trifecta of kids, laptops and game consoles in the household. Ill have my niece and nephew try them later to verify effectiveness with the intended user and update the review. TL/DR - I was surprised at what a legit product this is after buying it as a gag gift. Toddlers might have some trouble getting the hang of it, but its very promising for that tricky range when kids are too old for the standard sippy cup and still young enough to be disaster masters.

Pros: Good price point Easy to find Fun Colors Leak proof Easy to clean Easy to use Cons: Plastic (for those that dont dishwash plastic) The top silicone part gets worn over time and then its no longer leak proof Missed the handles at first Our daughter has had the smaller version of these cups since birth, they were on our registry because they were highly recommended since they dont use a straw or a spout. There was a learning curve, but once she got the hang of it, it was perfect. Those cups have held up, even considering that the top silicone part has inevitably gotten looser over time and dishwasher runs. The only reason why we got these was because it was very clear that she just naturally needed more water available to her at any given time. My husband hand washes the silicone piece and theyre holding strong.

Great product and really leak proof. One bad thing is that it arrived in three separate deliveries and one took longer to arrive than the rest.

My dad is currently bed-ridden and elderly. I needed a water cup for him that he can sip from easily but which wont leak and is also easy to clean and keep hygienic and easy to take apart and assemble. My dad has dentures so he needs a cup where the liquid comes out easily when sucking but wont leak since he cannot easily get up and sometimes drinks when in a semi-lying position in bed. He loves this cup, it is perfect for him. I ended up buying another set for myself as I always like to have water on my bedside table and dont need to worry I might spill something when I groggily take a sip of water in the middle of the night. Highly recommended.
