> 3 dayI used this to test various External monitors by outputting from my laptop directly. I was using USB-C w/ DP-Alt Mode over USB4. I havent used TB4 with this cable yet as I dont have any devices that technically fully support it at this point in time. However I can confirm it works with TB3/USB4 without a problem and can drive external displays without an issue! Time will tell how long it lasts, will report back if it breaks. However this is just the right length to fit with monitors (like the one pictured) that have their USB-C connections on the opposite side of my laptops USB-C ports.

> 3 dayI tried this with an iPad Pro M1 and my LG Ultrafine 5K which uses a thunderbolt connection and it worked well. There was no discernible difference vs the thunderbolt cable that LG provided with the monitor. I also connected to my M1 Mac Mini and under the system details it reported up to 40Gbps which is the theoretical throughput for Thunderbolt 4. So overall, it does what it is supposed to do. But to be clear, I dont have more precise measuring tools to do a super detailed analysis. But I have not encountered any problems.

> 3 dayIm not sure that this is actually thunderbolt as I wasnt able to find it on the list of thunderbolt approved devices, but it does still hit the advertised 40Gbps data transfer speeds when using a usb4 nvme enclosure, so it is at least usb4. I was able to charge at 100w, but I would expect a cable at this price point to be able to do 240w (regardless of if theres any devices that can take advantage of it yet). For current device limitations, this cable is fine, but as 240w usb-c devices start to come out, this cable wont be able to do the full 240w, while others in this price point (supposedly) will.

> 3 dayThis cable is perfect because its not overly long, but is just the right length to connect and not have a mess. The transfers are fast and the charging is equally as fast. I love this and because so many devices are switching over to USB-C, this is a must-have!

> 3 dayThe first time I connected my MacBookPro16,1 (2019) to my Glyph 1 TB Atom RAID USB 3.1 Type-C External SSD using this cable, the backup system volume on the Glyph automatically tried to mount, and repeatedly put up the improperly disconnected alert. They ran down the right side of my screen. I pulled the cable and then made sure it was securely seated in the drive and the MacBook. Same result. I then used my usual cable and Disk Utility showed the backup system volume with the red alert warning that it was damaged and couldnt be repaired and information should be gotten off the volume. On a subsequent connection the volume did not appear in Disk Utility for mounting to be attempted. It seems probable that the cable killed the volume and perhaps rendered the entire SSD unreliable.

> 3 dayThis is one superb USB-C cable that can keep up with the 40 Gbps transfer speed of my iMacs Thunderbolt ports.

> 3 dayThis is a good quality cable and its ideal size for imac to portable HD applications in my opinion, 3feet is too short and 6 feet is too long...

> 3 dayI ordered this to use with a 45w charger and it works perfectly for that the length is just as described and it feels like a quality study cable with good strain relief. The only negative is that the rubber strain relief on both ends was covered in some sort of sticky residue I thought it was adhesive but it was some sort of substance that was on both ends of the cable on all sides of the stress relief and not found anywhere else on the cable it was pretty weird but I was able to remove it was a wet wipe. Apart from that weird experience the cable works great and is exactly what I needed.
