This is just a great cable. Yeah, its a bit expensive, but youre getting what you pay for here, and then some. The data throughput meets expectations, as does the charging current capabilities. Theres not a whole lot more that I can say about a product that is well constructed and meets the advertised specifications, other than to say that I am wholly satisfied and would purchase again in an instant. Its easy to write a tome for a product that fails to meet your expectations or advertised specifications, but not so with this cable. Its just fantastic. Highly recommended!

I used this to test various External monitors by outputting from my laptop directly. I was using USB-C w/ DP-Alt Mode over USB4. I havent used TB4 with this cable yet as I dont have any devices that technically fully support it at this point in time. However I can confirm it works with TB3/USB4 without a problem and can drive external displays without an issue! Time will tell how long it lasts, will report back if it breaks. However this is just the right length to fit with monitors (like the one pictured) that have their USB-C connections on the opposite side of my laptops USB-C ports.

This cable is pretty thick and feels quality, but its not an official TB4 cable. It does work well for my purposes of hooking into an LG monitor - I get passthrough charging and a full 4K display at 60Hz. I havent maxed out the transfer speed, so I cant speak to that. I think its a little overpriced but should hold up well for my purposes.

I tried this with an iPad Pro M1 and my LG Ultrafine 5K which uses a thunderbolt connection and it worked well. There was no discernible difference vs the thunderbolt cable that LG provided with the monitor. I also connected to my M1 Mac Mini and under the system details it reported up to 40Gbps which is the theoretical throughput for Thunderbolt 4. So overall, it does what it is supposed to do. But to be clear, I dont have more precise measuring tools to do a super detailed analysis. But I have not encountered any problems.

This cable is braided and pretty flexible. It feels great and so far has been working great. I use it for my external GPU and have had no problems so far.

I needed a slightly longer cable for my Studio Display, and I didnt want to fork over $130 to Apple for it. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for.

Until recently the longest Thunderbolt cable I could find at a reasonable price was 3-feet long. This one is significantly longer and doesn’t seem to have any significant lag in data transfer speeds.
