> 3 dayJust broke into the box and so far, so good. They seem to work well and feel pretty sturdy, like the will not fall apart easily and be useful.

Greater than one weekI bought these sponges as an eco-friendly alternative to the name brand blue sponges I’d been using for years. I’ve used maybe… four so far. They are decent sponges but they just don’t compare and I probably wouldn’t order them again. The scrubby side is a bit inferior in getting tough stains out, the sponge side is just okay, and I feel like I use more dish soap to keep the sponge sudsy compared to the sponges I used previously. Also, I don’t know if anyone else has encountered this, but the scratchy side is so rough on my skin! My hands are already dry from the winter and whenever I wash dishes, the fibers on these sponges tear my hands apart. The little fibers also get stuck in little nooks and crannies, so I have to be extra vigilant when rinsing. The sponges are overall more slippery than the ones I used previously; they’re not easy to grip, so if you’re like me and you are developing arthritis in your hands, these might not be the best choice for you. After this pack is done I’m going back to my trusted blue sponges.

09-06-2025They are great and beneficial for the environment since bamboo is sustainable and a renewable source of material for all types of paper, sponges, wood etc products.

> 3 dayThey look nice, dont get yucky or any unpeasant smell, lasts a long, long time, and take lots of abuse from me, plus they help the environment. To be honest, I like that, but if they didnt work better than other sponges on the market I would not buy them. They never scratch my pans, nonstick or stainless, but they do get them clean. Easy to rinse and they really get a lot of wear from me. I use them not only for dishes, but for cabinets, walls and woodwork, I wet one, put it in the microwave every so often for about a minute and this serves two purposes, One it disinfects the sponge and secondly, if you cool it for a minute or so, you will be surprised how easy it is to clean inside your microwave from the wet heat. When new, be sure to wet it thoroughly, as the coconut fibers tend to be a bit stiff. Afterwards, they soften just a bit, enough to feel comfy and squishy and clean everything beautifully.

> 3 dayThis is the second time Ive ordered these sponges. I am able to use one a month, and I like that they go into the compost bin! They are very durable and work just as well as non-compostable sponges. Will continue to purchase.

> 3 dayThe performance exceeds that of synthetic scrubbers. Non-toxic product with natural materials that can be composted at the end of its lifespan is a plus. Great for cutting micro plastics and supporting a product that makes best use of planets resources.

> 3 dayThese sponges clean just fine, and I appreciate that they come in large set. The scrubby side is way, way too hard, however, and it doesnt scrunch at all in your hand so you can wring out the sponge. It also kind of digs into your hand when you do try to wring it, so its pretty unpleasant to use. I thought it might loosen up with warm water or use or something, but not so far. Ill use up this box and look for an alternative.

> 3 daySurprisingly pleased! They actually hold up better than the normal sponges if you ask me. Just the right amount of stiffness yet flexible to really get in on those dishes. Pricier than normal ones but you’re helping the environment, even if it’s this small of a change. I believe a lot more people would make this small change if it was a little more affordable. Definitely recommend though!

> 3 dayThe coconut fibers can be a little prickly at first but overall these work pretty well. It looks like they start to break down after about 3 weeks of regular use (dishes for 2 people daily). The sponge appears to stay clean and the scrubbing ability is pretty comparable to the common blue scrub sponges we had been using previously.

> 3 dayI will go for every chance to eliminate more plastic from the landfill. These sponges start a tad stiff but soften after a couple uses and work just as well if not better than my name brand plastic scrubber sponges without the environmental guilt. We have been using one for over a month now and it is still going strong, and that says a lot since we don’t have a dishwasher.
