Greater than one weekIts a nice brush, but I didnt notice any major benefits worth its price. It says its anti-static, but maybe that means it just doesnt cause static. Ive been trying new products lately and my hair is so staticky after a brushing so I cant blame the brush, but I wish it helped. Overall its nice and I hope its helpful in ways that i dont notice such as distributing oils, etc.

> 3 dayI was specptical about this hair brush, but being I had so much static in my hair, I had to give it a try. I have fine hair but lots of it, and since Ive started using this, I can honestly say goodbye to static! Best purchase ever!!!

> 3 dayMy two girls and myself all have long-ish hair … my oldest has thick, wavy tailbone length hair and a very sensitive scalp. I’ve looked at this brush for a very long time and finally bought it and an Olivia Garden bamboo paddle brush at the same time. I previously had an Olivia Garden brush that lasted about 10 years until the pegs started coming out. I brushed my oldest’s hair tonight to put it up in a bun. I started with the OG but as she yelped in pain I switched to this brush. The OG is a nice brush, yet there was no comparison!!! The pegs are straight, which makes it easy to back out if you hit a tangle that needs a gentler approach. It also makes it very easy to clean, and with no trapped fuzz! The material of the pad overlaps the pegs, there is no gap to trap hairs (the OG tends to gap and can catch hair at the base of the pegs). The wood produces no static like plastic does. After putting my oldest’s hair up, my younger daughter needed help with some neglected tangles in her own shoulder length hair. Again, this beautiful brush wins hands down. The handle is smooth and unbelievably ergonomic (at least for my hands). It has a subtle three-dimensional shape rather than a rounded flat shape like most brushes. It isn’t cheap … I know. It sat on my wish list for a long time. But after seeing/feeling the brush in use my husband encouraged me not to feel guilty about buying two more so we each have one.

> 3 day**Update 1/8/23: I notice my normally oily scalp feels and looks cleaner an extra day (usually have to wash every 2 days, been able to wash every 3 now) and scalp no longer gets tingly and itchy on day 2 like as before. Still in love with this brush!** Glides through my hair like butter. This is my first wooden bristle brush experience. I used to use plastic combs and I always thought my long fine hair was prone to difficult tangles, turns out I was just using the wrong brush! After using this brush I only seem to encounter minor tangles that my brush just glides through. It feels so good brushing with this cute brush

> 3 dayI just recently found out that those little knobs on the end of the bristles in hairbrushes are the enemy. They cause hair breakage and tangles. I was searching for non-knobby hairbrushes and all i kept finding were bristle brushes. I have very fine blonde hair. A lot of really fine hair. If a natural bristle brush came near my hair, the esuing static storm would last for days. And then I found this beauty. This wooden hairbrush with round wooden pins is something from Heaven. Absolutely no static. And I live in The Chihuahuan Desert where there is no humidity and static is a fact of life. My hair feels so smooth and soft after i use this brush. I am going to purchase several as gifts this year and highly recommend that you gift yourself with one.

> 3 dayI bought one for me 2 years ago but through a different distributor not on amazon and my husband kept stealing mine so he got his own for Christmas I keep heat away from it and wash it with gentle soap and warm water every other week or when it gets product build up. I personally love this brush and it’s the best one I’ve ever owned, I love it more than a wet brush. Will update if this one is a knockoff and falls apart. Update***I just realized this is the same person I bought from, I just ordered it directly from their website. It’s legit. :) Also to the people who say it’s missing a bristle, it is not. It’s an air hole. It’s a wonderful brush and you won’t be disappointed just take decent care of it and it will last!
