I just recently found out that those little knobs on the end of the bristles in hairbrushes are the enemy. They cause hair breakage and tangles. I was searching for non-knobby hairbrushes and all i kept finding were bristle brushes. I have very fine blonde hair. A lot of really fine hair. If a natural bristle brush came near my hair, the esuing static storm would last for days. And then I found this beauty. This wooden hairbrush with round wooden pins is something from Heaven. Absolutely no static. And I live in The Chihuahuan Desert where there is no humidity and static is a fact of life. My hair feels so smooth and soft after i use this brush. I am going to purchase several as gifts this year and highly recommend that you gift yourself with one.

I like most aspects of this brush because it glides through my straight hair without snagging like the cheap ones you buy at a drugstore. I think it’s a bit heavy and big, or I have a small head.

I admit that I am usually bad about leaving a review, but this brush is amazing!!!! I have wavy/curly hair down to my waist and this brush just slid right through my extremely knotted hair. It is very dry here today and I wanted to wait to see how it worked in regards to static. I saw that other people said it made static worse, but I had absolutely no problem with that and would have to say that it actually helped calm the static that was already driving me crazy. If used properly, this brush evenly distributes the natural oils from the scalp down the hair shaft and that is what stops the hair from sticking out all over the place. I recommend this brush to anyone with very long hair who is tired of feeling like their hair is being ripped from their scalp. Go slow, always start from the bottom of your hair and work your way up. The biggest mistake people make when brushing their hair is that they start from the top down. After you get the knots out, then brush from the top down to distribute the natural oils that keep the lower half of your hair healthy.

Ive been searching for a natural, wooden hairbrush that did not use boar hair... this one is the perfect size, and is beautiful and sturdy. Love it.

This is a beautifully made hair brush. It is lightweight. Its bristles are very nice & feel good. It dissipates static from hair. I have long, thick hair & no static. The price is worth it. Favorite brush ever.

When I first received the brush from Amazon, I thought a bristle had come out. Even then I didnt want to return it because everything else was so perfect. I would usually send it back but now I know about the hole! And now I feel relieved to know the hole has a reason to be there. Great product.

My hair is fine, thick, waist length, and I am an older lady so my hair tends to break. I had never heard of a wooden bristle brush but my research said this is the appropriate brush. I am so very happy with this hairbrush. My uniform jacket is fleece so my hair tends to turn into a ball, which was the case the first time I used it. It took just a skiff longer than my regular plastic brush but there was almost no hair in the brush when I was finished (see picture). This made me very happy! Although it is a beautiful brush, the only criticism I can find is that the handle is thin and is not as comfortable in the hand as I would like. However after using for several days I cannot imagine ever using a different brush ever again!

Amazing brush! I was hesitant to purchase this brush but because of all the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. This is by far the best hair brush I have ever owned!!! It makes my scalp feel wonderful because the bristles are firm enough to stimulate my scalp & it untangles my fine hair without pulling or breaking it! I am going to buy another one just to keep on hand because this brush is that great!!!
