These Softgels are very small and easy to swallow. The potency is good, and the Softgels remain fresh and firm when stored on a cool, dry shelf in the kitchen (and not near a toaster oven, stove, or microwave). I find the price to be very reasonable for a large bottle of 250 Softgels - because each Softgel contains a dose of 2000 IU (50 mcg) of Vitamin D3. That is the daily dose my doctor recommended - so I only need to take one Softgel per day. That means the bottle I purchased will last me 250 days, which is more than two-thirds of a year!

I live in the city and, except when on vacation, I hardly ever spend time in the sun (to prevent wrinkles). TMI, if you want to keep reading: Scientists have proven that skin color is directly related to how much sun our ancestors received, depending on where they lived. In the African continent many people have kinky, nappy, hair probably to allow the sweat to drip easier down the scalp and evaporate quicker. Those in the northern, snowy climates have straighter, thin hair which lays on the scalp, providing added insulation. I am Scandinavian, black, and Native American so I have a lot of thick, dry hair that gets oily at the scalp because I keep it very long. With the vitamin D deficiency, my body probably thinks I now live in a northern climate so I dont need as much of this dry hair. So now I take vitamin D and, voila, the amount I loose in the shower is reduced significantly.

Value for money

I ordered 2 of the NatureMade D3 2000 IU (50 mcg) soft gels bottles because I really like this product. The first bottle was perfect. But, last night I opened the second bottle and the seal was ripped open. The product had solidified at the neck of the bottle and about 15 were at the bottle loose. This wasnt stored in my cabinet upside down. So, the product had to have been defective when it was shipped to me. Im going to order more, but Im concerned that it was Amazon LLC that shipped it to me in that condition. Im going to look for another vendor.

I like that the Vitamin D3 is easy to swallow. My vitamin level has gone up some. I take one a day and have purchased product several times. I would buy again.

I take them as a recommendation from my physician to help with osteoporosis. I like they are small and easy to swallow. The price is reasonable and the delivery was good.

Lacking in Vitamin D. So thought I would try. When I had my next test my vitamin d levels were better.
