Greater than one weekEspecially do not order softgels in Texas in summer (104 deg. F./40 deg. C or higher for two consecutive weeks). I should have known better but I havent ordered softgels in summer before These softgels arrived in a fused, dessicated (shriveled) lump that took a large amount of effort to break up. I have very low confidence that any efficacy of the product remains, but since it cannot be returned I suppose Im just out of pocket for the amount I paid since there is no way I will consume the gels. Oh well, live and learn. As I said in the headline, Ill never again order softgels (not any softgel product) in summer

> 3 dayJust bought these when my old tablets ran out. These are MUCH better than the chalky white tablets. They do not break up and form white dust everywhere. These are really tiny and very easy to swallow with no taste whatsoever.

> 3 dayI take them as a recommendation from my physician to help with osteoporosis. I like they are small and easy to swallow. The price is reasonable and the delivery was good.

> 3 dayThis is a good value and most people now are D3 deficient so it pays to take it.

> 3 dayIve been using Nature Mades vitamin D3 for years and it has been very effective at getting my blood level of vitamin D into the normal range. Its a very good product. The issue is that the gel capsules melt together and solidify into a rubbery brick if the bottle is exposed to heat. When I ordered a bottle of these vitamins in March, everything was fine. They arrived in good condition. But, when I ordered them again in September they arrived melted and completely useless and smelling very bad. I dont know when the heat exposure occurred...if it was because the package sat in the sun on my stoop for about an hour, or if it was from improper storage before shipping. The rancid and decomposing smell makes me think it happened before shipping. I would highly recommend this product under normal circumstances, but be very wary of ordering them during the hot months. They are not eligible for return, but you can contact customer service to get a refund. Which is what I did for the second bottle with the melted & smelly conglomeration inside.
