I like this for some added cooling on a very hot day. It cools by evaporation, so for me i got great cooling by placing a damp cloth on my neck. It runs over 12-hours on a charge at low speed. It is a bit loud, so i mostly used the lowest speed. And it weighs around a pound, which is a bit much.

I recently got a hand held fan to use while spending hours each week mowing my very large yard. I later realized that mowing using a ZTR mower requires the full time use of both hands therefore making the use a hand held fan impossible except during breaks in the shade. I decided to add this neck model to be able to have a fan running constantly while freeing up both hands to drive my ZTR. This will lessen or eliminate the time needed to take breaks in order to cool of in the shade. Now I have more time for enjoyable activities. It is much bigger than the ad photo makes it look, which is good. After topping off its large capacity 4000mAh battery I was able to mow my yard in a record one hour and fifteen minutes with the fan running the entire time and it is still going strong. It did a very good job of keeping me from overheating during a pretty hot and muggy day. This was the answer I was looking for and I recommend it for everyone who has to work outside this summer.

I am reviewing the dolond Neck Fan, Portable 4000mAh with three speeds. As I mentioned in my header, I’m not a fan of this neck fan. It’s only quiet for the people around you. It’s loud on your neck, especially on medium and high settings. I am wearing it as I write this review. I have it set to medium speed, and it’s distracting. I have 40% hearing loss, and I’m not wearing my hearing aids. Not only do I get the noise from the rushing air, but I also get sound transduced to my head for the mechanical energy it makes. However, it is somewhat comfortable to wear and provides a cooling effect on your head. When used while physically active or if it’s very hot and you sweat heavily, I am concerned about sweat getting in the fan. It’s probably not likely to happen, but anything is possible. The device is made of hard plastic and has a modern design. The neck fan looks like headphones that you have taken off your ears and kept around your neck for convenience. It has a USB-C charging port, and a charging cable is supplied for you to use with your USB charger or USB charging outlet. The battery life is just about as advertised. I wish the power/speed button were a bit more pronounced so that it is easier to find since you can’t see it when the fan is on your neck. Conclusion: While this neck fan may be a good option for others, I don’t see myself using it much. I had to remove it while writing this review because it was annoyingly distracting. However, I think other people may like it, as my spouse did! I think it could be improved by subtle changes like less vibration and a more pronounced control button. I am giving this a three-star review.

This fan is a great wearable portable fan. It has 3 speeds, with the lowest speed being all I need. It is quiet. But naturally, it gets a little louder with higher speeds, due to more airflow. it is important to remember to slide this neck fan on from behind or the side of your neck. Do not attempt to place it over the top of your head and down to your neck. The fan is designed to slide on around your neck. This fan does a great job of cooling me off after exercise or anytime I feel too warm.

I love this neck fan. My son and I went on a trip to the zoo. It was so hot out, but I brought this neck fan for him. He started getting really warm, and miserable about half way through our day. I took this fan out, turned it on, and put it around the back of his neck. It works so well, and it is extremely quiet. My son does not like loud noises by his ears, but he had no issues with this fan. He was able to enjoy the rest of our trip with a smile on his face, and never said another word about being hot. This fan saved the day! All three speeds are pretty powerful, and they are all quiet. It is made of a tough plastic shell, but its not heavy. My son is six, and it was light enough for him to wear for nearly three hours. It stayed on with full power for all three hours. He even wore it in the car on the way home, and it was still running strong when he finally shut it off. I am definitely impressed with this product.

This is an awesome gift idea that packs a good amount of power. The fan keeps you cool during these hot south GA springtime hours. The battery life is also good. Its reasonably priced and looks sleek. Great value!

Great fan, this is super comfortable to wear and gives a nice gentle breeze on my neck.

My title says good neck fan but Im only giving this 4 stars and there is a reason for that. To get that out of the way first I have to say that it is a very static, inflexible device. I have a very thick neck and the video description shows the device being placed on your neck from the rear, bringing the fans towards you. Well, I did that and the device now has a very distinct wiggle to it as I had to force it. It still works but its not quite the static, inflexible device it was prior to this. It took me a hot minute to have the a-ha moment of putting the device on opposite of the video (front of the neck first) and then just turn the device the appropriate direction once it was on my neck. However, after that, this device is everything the advertisement says it is. Lightweight and a good breeze is generated even at its lowest setting. On high, the noise does become more noticible but when youre outside or theres noise in the background indoors, the noise the device generates quickly turns into a white noise that you barely notice as youre going about your daily routines. I received the device with it 2/3ds charged and using the USB-C cable it came with, I finished charging it rather quickly. I didnt use the device until the battery died so I dont know how long a full charge would actually be. Its definitely worth picking up, but I do wish that there was a disclaimer somewhere in the materials (on Amazons website or in the included directions) on how to wear properly with those of us with thick necks.

Strong fan and very comfortable to use. Kinda wish it was foldable to store it easily. Have to say, this is a must have for here in Florida. During hot weathers outside, even going out to theme parks (disney and universal) this has been great. Im hoping to bring this to an outdoor concert, would be amazing if they let me in with this. Otherwise, it works like it stated. 3 fan speeds, strongest speed does get a bit loud since the fan is blowing on your ear. Its powered by USB-C, so as an android user, this is a plus for me since I have chargers lying around everywhere. Very pleased with this so far and hoping it lasts!

It does not put out alot of air, nor is the design comfortable to put on and wear. If ALL the vented areas you see on it..actually pumped out solid strong air.. it would be better..
