Necoichi Extra Wide Raised Cat Food Bowl (Cat)

I have an older cat with health issues, so getting him to eat is a priority. I am astonished that changing feeding dishes can make such a difference!! These are shaped more like a flat plate which enables me to spread the food out for slower eating. I also think the elevated height is more pleasing to a cat. The first time they were used, he RAN to get fed!!! I purchased two of the Extra Wide Raised Food Bowls - one for wet, the other for dry. I also have the Extra Tall Raised Water Bowl. I love everything about these raised bowls. More importantly, my cats clearly love them. It bothered me seeing them hunched over while they ate. Additionally, this hot summer brought in ants, who were getting in their floor food bowls. It didn’t help that two of my cats liked to pull the food out and eat kibble off the floor. It was messy, and no matter what I tried, I couldn’t keep the ants from coming back. Baking soda worked well, but I needed a better solution. These raised bowls are the perfect solution. My cats eat with their heads raised. There’s a nice lip that keeps the kibble in the bowl; no more messy eaters. I haven’t seen one ant since I started using these bowls. I feel that I can control food portions better also, which is a plus. 4 cats and 4 bowls. These bowls are beautifully made. Their heavy porcelain and very easy to clean. It’s convenient to be able to warm wet food for each cat as well; just remember to remove the rubber gasket before microwaving. These bowls are shallow (perfect for cats) and not deep enough for water. My cats have a fountain, but this company makes a sharp looking raised water bowl. I highly recommend and wish I hadnt waited this long to buy them

First dish arrived in several pieces…very poorly packaged. No hassle return. Second one arrived in perfect shape. I have a large cat & he would often vomit right after eating when I had his dish on the floor. This dish solved the problem.

This is the best water bowl for my cats. They love it. Nice & wide and since its elevated its better for their necks.

One of my two cats scoops out her dry food with her paw and tries eating it off her paw. Most pieces fall off her paw so I always have dry food all over the floor. I figured she was eating this way because it was uncomfortable for her whiskers to touch the sides of the bowl (whisker fatigue). I’ve tried many different elevated (I buy elevated because I feel it’s better for their digestion) bowls, to no avail. This bowl is actually making a noticeable difference! She occasionally still reverts to her preferred method of eating but it’s a lot better.

This is my 6th bowl / dish - and I really think that my cats eat better, and eat everything in a reasonable time frame. With the bowls on the floor, they left a lot more behind and didnt come back to finish. All my cats have one now. The babies have smaller bowls; the bigger guys have this XL bowls PROs: They clean very easily, a quick soak in hot water will lift up anything stuck. Wet food does not get stuck along the bottom edges of the bowl, as can happen with regular bowls. Not super heavy. But sturdy; I have dropped these on a thick kitchen floor matt and they didnt even crack. Stack neatly on their side in a dish drainer. The XL bowls have a non skid rubber ring on the bottom of the bowl so it doesnt slide around. Ring is removable for easy drying. CON: At some point you are bound to knock the bowl on the counter, sink, floor; because it is ceramic it will chip or break. In over a year of using 5 of these, I have broken only one so bad it needed replacement (smacked into the edge of the sink on the granite). Some of the bowls have chips to the base, but not bad enough to worry about.

My cats both have occasional vomiting issues, plus floor-level bowls look terribly uncomfortable to eat from. Enter this bowl! Its wide enough that whiskers dont rub the sides, its dishwasher AND microwave safe, and its super cute!! This is genuinely the perfect bowl for my cats

Our cat likes it. As in, it holds his food so of course hell like it. We got it because of how deep his previous bowl was, and this one is cute and easy to clean.
