Would like better directions

This is a really nice kit for beginners with a lot of materials for everything you need to start needle felting. The kit comes with enough material for each cat, some keychains, eyes, hooks, plenty of needles, the pad and directions. The directions included visuals but I had difficulty understanding some steps and getting the textures to look the same. This is a great kit to get started with and use alongside some videos and online tips and tricks to fill in the gaps. This is fun to do with kids or as an adult, I like that it comes with little finger glove protectors but they are pretty small and may not fit your fingers. I felt very comfortable and safe using this set and was able to make a fairly mediocre looking set of cat keychains for my family!

Ive made the first two kitties (pictured) but I omitted the legs for the grey tabby. Instructions are clear & relatively easy to follow. Each cat has a QR code that lead to a video showing the steps as well. The more cats you do, the easier it becomes. The only complaint I have is that its hard to gauge what size each part should be, including the body. I feel like Im making them too big - but it matches the size in the videos - because the eyes are much smaller in the kit than in the photos. Im worried that means Ill run out of the wool for the rest of the kitties. Overall though, it was a nice trial for me to decide if I want to keep pursuing felting (which I think I will!). Plus now I get cute felted kitties to work my bookshelves.

I thought this was going to be much harder than it was but with the picture and video instructions, I feel like it adequately showed how to easily complete the puppies. You have to us a QR scanner, and it just takes you to the YouTube page so you have to search through the videos to find the right one but once you do one or two you get a pretty good idea of how to create the others. The picture instructions are written in bad English but show detailed enough pictures that it would probably be easy enough to do without the video instructions. I had dabbled in felting slightly a few years ago but this kit gave me so much more experience in just a few days. Ive sold every keychain Ive made since I started!

Just made one of them. little time consuming to poke it to nice shape, but was fun!

So this was an accidental buy. Forgot it was in my shopping cart bought what I really needed and was like why was my purchase more expensive? But hey, we are in lock down so why not work on a hobby I was thinking of doing anyway. This kit comes complete. Instructions, labeled tools. Even a handle for the needles. Another kit didn’t have a handle. The characters look intimidating to make but the instructions even have a working link to a video to show you how to make them. It came in a gift box which was honestly the biggest surprise. I felt special. Don’t throw away the foam piece. It is your working board, it’ll save your surface area from poke holes. Honestly blown away at how organized and really thought out this kit is. Is it for a beginner? Yes because you get all the tools you need. Maybe a little overwhelming because the character are definitely detailed. But if you complete your project, you’ll definitely be proud of yourself.

I saw someone do this on Instagram, and had to try it. I must say, that is was really fun and really helps with stress and anger since you literally have to stab the thing hundreds of times. This was my first felting project, and was pretty pleased with the result. Not exact, but, close enough. The instructions were okay, and the bar code on the sheets went to a YouTube channel that DID NOT have the designs in the box. But, looking at the instructions, and getting a little better with each part, it is definitely manageable even for those that have no craft experience. I really recommended this kit for all ages, however the needles are SHARP! So, be extra careful! Also, cats love playing with the wool so keep them away if you have them while doing it..
