Mine arrived, and like the other reviewers was fake/counterfeit. The quality similar to the other $5 punches on amazon with soft tips. Returned.

I purchased the version that has the one-handed spring impact center punch. I initially had my doubts about how well this would work, given that I had always used a center punch that you have to hit with a hammer to make the punch. I was absolutely blown away by the ease of use, accuracy, and consistent size of the punch mark created with this automatic center punch. Compared to a hammer-driven center punch, this automatics center punch is easier to use because it requires only one hand, freeing up your other hand. The size of the punch it creates is consistent and repeatable. It is also easier to make the punch in the desired place because you dont have the risk of the hammer causing a glancing blow that moves the tip of the center punch.

Great product! No hammers needed and no broken thumbs.

Im a bladesmith and I use these to mark my blades. The work great. No need to buy the expensive ones.

Heavy duty set, plenty sharp for cutting through thick leather. I like that there is a center pin to find the exact center of your circle, but you can also remove it if needed so it wont damage the leather.

The punch arrived on time and at first appeared to be as-advertised. I used it a few times on metal and was disappointed in the depth and clarity of the mark. After checking the adjustments, etc., the depth of the mark was the same, and required more effort to push than I had expected. I moved on to a large wood project, and am also disappointed in the mark-depth in wood. I read some reviews and am now concerned that I have one of the knock-offs, rather than a real Nieko, since there is nothing anywhere that states it is a Nieko, not even on the Red Handle.

I used mine to hole punch sheet metal I was drilling a hole through. This worked perfectly and created an nice deep dimple exactly over the spot I had marked for drilling. I will update this review if things change.

Nice quality. Did a great job cutting felt. Perfect circles. Saved a lot of time cutting them out. Fast and easy.

These are great. Got them for pen making/disassembly. They work great as punches to disassemble pen kits and as rods mounted in a drill chuck on the lathe for squaring blanks on a disc sander (mounted in the headstock). They are a few bucks cheaper on Amazon than on the pen-making websites and are exactly the same thing. I highly recommend them!
