Nelson Rigg NR-300 Route 1 Traveler Tour Trunk Bag, Black Harley Davidson Ultra, Indian Roadmaster, Honda Gold Wing

We have used on two road trips recently and it worked great. One trip was 4 day s the other 2 days and we were able to pack plenty of clothes and misc without any problems Fits well on our 2016 TriGlide and is easy to strap down.

We had the H-D Premium bag on our bike for several years but after doing a 12 day 4000 mile ride we decided we needed something with a bit more volume and this fit the bill perfectly. In fact we had enough room that on a 10 ride a couple weeks later we had the extra room for some items and didn’t even have to use the expansion feature.

It was to large and not sturdy enough foe my needs… So I returned it only find out they did not pick up the shipping. I emailed them asking to reimburse but told me in so many words tough! You ordered it so it’s your problem if you want to return it… I called Amazon they told me that they should not have made me pay for shipping. So I’ll never order anything from them again!

Love the size of this. I could carry a ton of stuff. Horace, after just one extended trip, it developed holes on the base. This is supposed to be made for HD and Indian luggage tracks but obviously doesnt work well with the HD touring one. I would never buy this again and if you expect it to last more than one season, Id look elsewhere. BTW, I was replacing my Harley bag that I used for traveling over 10 years and was only destroyed in wreck. Never had these cheap material issues. Nelson Rigg contacted me after this review and worked diligently with me to resolve the issue by replacing the bag and then some. Because their customer service rocked and they made good on their warranty, I would highly recommend this bag.

Great additional storage for long weekend with the ole’lady. Sits perfectly on the tour pack rack. The waterproof cover is a bonus!

My order came in early and was boxed up very well. I noticed the NR-300 material was made very well too. The main upper zipper sticks a little but is ok, not a YKK zipper though. My wife likes it very much and me too. My expectations of the NR300 was low when I ordered it but now that it came in I am happy with it. I wanted the $400.00 Harley bag that was almost like the NR-300, but didnt want to spend that kind of cash. I cant wait to use it when we leave for our long trip through the mountains. I dont see any problems with the NR-300 and will post any results in the future after my trip.

Omgosh, where do I start?? This bag is amazing!! So much room and attaches easily to our Indian Roadmaster trunk. I am a heavy packer...have to pack extra stuff on trips. This bag has so much room, love the compartments and the cover was a huge plus!! Price was a little high but otherwise, I am still very very pleased with it!!
