> 3 dayI had initial concerns when ordering this item that it might be too flimsy and not stand up to highway speeds but right out of the box the first impression you get is how rugged this bag is. Exceptional accessory for those long road trips on you bike.

> 3 dayI strapped this bag to the back of my Harley touring bike on the trunk carrier and it stayed in place. It was a 3500 mile adventure. There is plenty of storage in this bag and it does extend a bit for added storage which came in handy on the ride home with additional souvenirs added to my load. The only caution I would give is, if you know youre going to be in wet weather, be sure to use the included rain cover for the bag. I got caught in a flash thunderstorm and the bag did get a little wet after about 20 minutes, but for the most part, only the clothes at the very top of the bag got a little wet.

09-06-2025This Nelson Rigg bag is worth every penny! Top quality bag installs super quick, ultra secure and is super roomy. Zip out top extender adds another nearly 2 inches of space. We had probably 50 lbs or more in this traveling Highways, byways, mountains and towns and I never had to worry about that bag. Super high quality should last about forever.

> 3 dayThis is my fourth Nelson-Rigg bag and I bought it for my wife to use on her Can-Am Spyder for a trip we are making from south Texas to Colorado. Her Spyder has plenty of storage, but none of it is removable such that she can take it into the hotel room at the end of the day. The Route 1 Traveler Bag seemed to be just what she needed. And we werent wrong! The bag mounted beautifully on her rear luggage rack and can hold all of her important stuff. It is extremely well-built, good looking, and easy to remove at the end of a long riding day. We couldnt be happier (we have already tested it out on a short trip and were extremely impressed!) The only drawback is the fact that it is a little pricey compared to other similar products on the market. But - you get what you pay for...

> 3 dayThe bag does hold to full size helmets along with two leather jackets. Thats plenty of space for me. The finish looks great and holds its shape nicely.
