This switch is exactly as described. It was easy to install and make all of the connections. I upgraded the speed of my cable internet to maximum and had computers with 1000Mb NIC cards in them. I deleted the slower switches I had. I chose this particular model because I wired my home in all rooms with Cat 5e wiring and wanted to run at top speeds. My home network is now able to run the 1000Mb that I wanted. This was a little less expensive than the Linksys/Cisco switch I compared it to. I was leery at first but decided to try the NetGear brand because I had a good experience with the brand before. This switch is doing a great job providing the speeds I wanted. I highly recommend this switch to anyone that needs to save money without sacrificing quality!

Plug and play, great price, this is a great unmanaged switch

Its a fairly fast switch, it works. I got this to run my internal network between a plex server, a home cloud, and my various systems. It is 10x faster than the previous switch I ran and seems to have no problems.
