Works great as a gig-E switch. Amazing value for the price. Only one complaint - that the LEDs dont show 10/100/1000 status. Not even when the case on top says green=1000, yellow=10/100. LEDs are always green, even at 100 Mbit. Flash when active.

Worked as expected.

Great product, and easy to set up. The only problem we had with set up was not knowing which port was for the input. Once we realized that any port could be used for the input it was easy.

Great value for the price!

I really wanted a managed router and what it would entail and Im pleased with the end result, but I found the Netgear mobile app a little limited and the web UI is also a little clunky. Unless Im just being dumb, once you click to go into the update firmware section, you cant get back. A good quick start guide to configuration (I know you need to plug it into the network and the power) would be welcome.

for $17.99 including shipping this is a great item. We purchased 2 and installed them They work great.

I went out of port with my NETGEAR N300 WNR2000 which had only 4 ports. So I buy NETGEAR 8 port. NETGEAR makes excellent products. It is easy to setup. Just powered up the switch and plugged the Ethernet cable from modem to any of the port on the NETGEAR 8 port device. Then you can connect all other devices to any port on the back.

Like everything from Netgear, it works great. Certainly not the best of breed, but works well and cant be faulted.
