Most reviews state that it’s a perfect fit however in my case the top shell wouldn’t go down all the way on one side

I have a cute pink Rilakkuma skin on my N3DSXL so I wanted a clear case to go over it. Honestly, its sturdy, it was cheap, and it fits. I also like that it doesnt have the same issues as what broke my old clear case, which is that it doesnt connect at the joints. The joint on my last clear case just snaped off when I was trying to get the case off, which was pretty disappointing and annoying. This one however doesnt have that issue. I have no issues with it falling off my console either; its quite snug and stuck on there. Overall, super happy with this!

I bought this product because I have numerous consoles with Hori brand clear tpu cases and couldnt find them anymore. I didnt expect much, to be honest, but my first impression is that these are actually better than Hori in at least one way: they are more rigid. The end result is that you get fewer bubbles (for lack of a better term) visible underneath the shell. Because the design is more rigid than Horis TPU case, it doesnt make contact with the consoles surface inconsistently and produce the air bubble like appearance. There is always a slight air gap that results in a perfect view to the console without any strange distortion or bubble effect. Its probably the best clear case for showing off a special edition 3ds while still offering some scratch protection! Highly recommend!

Bought it to protect my Zelda New 3DS XL from paint deterioration Ive seen in pics. To start, the case came with scratches on the top. When you put it on, you pretty much have to force it on to get it there completely. (I did this by shutting it and pushing it on all sides) Once its on, there are indeed bubbles as other comments have said. If you bought it for its aesthetics, this isnt for you. If you have serious OCD...this isnt for you. Shipping alone was $5.99, making it total almost $20. Honestly they should remove the shipping or lower the base price to $4.99. But like I said, itll preserve my 3DS and protect it from paint deterioration from finger oils.

I have a special edition 3DS and was worried about the clear case being foggy or easy to scratch, but it is great. I can see the design perfectly through the case and it makes me feel better knowing the design is safe yet I can still play and enjoy it.

Easy to attach and remove. Perfect for protecting your device from scratches, but as others have noted, definitely not going to protect from shock such as a fall. Its also still easy to access the power button, stylus, and volume and 3d sliders.

I ordered this after another one I had got didnt fit and was a big disappointment. Because I was already wary, it snapping on easily with no snags and fitting perfectly made me really happy. I recommend this type of case over one with hinges, just because I think itll last better in the long run, and is over all easier to deal with.
