New 3DS XL Case - Ultra Clear Crystal Transparent Hard Shell Protective Case Cover Skin for New 2015 Nintendo 3DS XL LL - [New Modified Hinge-Less Design]

I bought a brand new New Nintendo 3DS XL recently and wanted to protect it and so I bought this. Its really easy clipping it on and taking it off. The material is fairly thick so I dont doubt it will protect it from falling from short heights and itll protect it from scratches which is what Im mostly buying this for. I love it!

Pretty much as described, no issues to be had here Easy to apply as well, interior packaging was quite sufficient and case came unscathed despite the exterior packaging being bruised a fair bit

Unfortunately this case causes scratches on the console. On two new consoles I put this case on, and on both it caused scratches and marks. The plastic admittingly scratches easily on the system. Look for another option.

The last one I bought had a hinge and they break more easily this one does not have a hinge and it snaps in very well it’s a basic clear case that provides minimum protection while keeping the aesthetic of your system visible. I love it

This case accomplishes a couple of things. First of all, its extremely sturdy and once on the system feels like it wont be going anywhere (snaps to both top and bottom part of the system. And not only will it protect from drops but it is great for system preservation. Anyone who is familiar with the system knows that the paint rubs off where your fingers sit on the system over time. This completely negates that. Im truly floored by the quality of this. So much so I had to write a review for it which I dont normally do.

Most reviews state that it’s a perfect fit however in my case the top shell wouldn’t go down all the way on one side

Snaps on and off without breaking like some other cases Ive used in the past. Fits my New Nintendo 3DS XL with a reproduction Majoras Mask shell. The added thickness makes the device a bit easier to hold in my adult hands, but its a bit slippery since theres no texture to grip onto. Might be nice in future models to have something to grip to, but the way this is designed it doesnt obscure any of the shells design/art. Recommended!

I ordered this after another one I had got didnt fit and was a big disappointment. Because I was already wary, it snapping on easily with no snags and fitting perfectly made me really happy. I recommend this type of case over one with hinges, just because I think itll last better in the long run, and is over all easier to deal with.
