New Cat Condos 110223-Brown Wood Constructed Large Pet Stairs for Cats and Dogs, Large

I purchase for my 16 year old cat. Its very easy for her to use the stairs to get on and off the bed. She goes up and down them 100 % of the time. Great investment!! They are very sturdy, I have used them to reach the ceiling fan too and they supported my body weight. (About 150 lbs.)

I know the item description/posting mentions cracks (and that they are natural for wood to have them - which I disagree) but the cracks in the item I received are huge and there are potential splinters for any cat or person on the wood pillars. I dont understand how it isnt possible to make this without these cracks. Ive had a lot of cat stairs and scratchers in my life for the cats Ive had and never had them look or feel like this. Not only does it look cheap with the cracks, it has to be downright dangerous. The rest of the stairs is exactly what I needed thus the 2 stars. The carpet is excellent quality (for cat stairs) compared to those companies who sell them with felt, fleece or other materials. I am not sure how to handle this. Its a heavy product so brining it back to the post office is going to be a chore. I suppose UPS can pick it up. I am also curious if amazon will pay for return shipping as that alone could eat up the cost of the item itself. UPDATE: I returned the stairs as they are defective. There is no way any cat should be using these. I even wrote a long letter to the company to let them know how I felt and the letter went unanswered. I guess the company does not care about their customers. I now wish I returned the large cat scratcher made by this company but it is beyond the return period.

Works perfectly for my cat to get up & down almost should have went with the 4 step but the 3 step works It’s sturdy & easy to vacuum also.

This cat stair way is PERFECT for my cat with CH and Patellar Luxation. For those who may not know, CH stands for Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Basically, my kitty has trouble walking, running, and sometimes standing as she tends to wobble. This makes jumping difficult, and our bed is pretty high off the ground. We bought this little stair case for her so she could get up and off the bed without assistance. The stairs are sturdy and durable - made of real wood. Theres some carpeting on the stairs which allows my cat to grab onto something if she needs more stability. Needless to say, Im really happy with these. Perfect height and perfectly suited for our special needs sweetheart.

Oh my gosh! These steps are an amazing buy for the buck. My geriatric cats really needed help getting up and down on my bed. These are sturdy, attractive and they were used within the first hour! Added bonus... they arrived in about 8 days! Not WEEKS as promised when purchased. Need steps for your pet? These are the ones!

This is an excellent product. If you are looking for a great cat product this one is very nice. I actually ordered dog stairs and still need those dog stairs. This is a cat condo. I will still need buy dog stairs now.

My sweet cat is now 16 years old. I started noticing her howling when she jumped up on on anything higher than 2 feet. I decided to get these steps to assist her. Seems to do the trick! She likes it and so do I. I seems very well made. I would highly recommend it.

Very sturdy stairs and our cats took to them immediately. As our cats have gotten older, we have the stairs setup so they can get on and off the bed easily. They also like to lounge on the steps. No assembly needed, ready to go right out of the box. Bottom has enough carpeting to not scratch our wood floors.

We really like these cat stairs. The cats use it to get up on the bed and do a little scratching on it and sometimes they hide underneath it. This one is made better than the previous ones weve had and we really like it.

My daughters short legged, cat couldnt make the jump to the bed anymore. We tried some other things, like a simple step stool. But, this was the perfect solution. Its well constructed. We had a brief break-in period, where carpet fibers needed to be swept up. But, that was minimal. We use the steps as a feeding platform as well as access to the bed. The steps are nearly the perfect height for this older cat, that struggles to make short leaps. This truly improves her mobility and helps to provide her with the quality of life that we want her to enjoy.. We couldnt be happier.
